The chat parser was written in Java just goofing around. MastrKraftr is written using M$ tools, that's why you need to install the .NET framework for it to run. Regardless of which language was used the resulting UI would be similar anyways.

No not at all, if you mean because I said I made the parser goofing around... it is a *log file* parser, not a realtime (from-memory) parser. FFXIV only writes logs once 60 entries are made, so my parser is really more for looking up past conversations or easily copying a single conversation without having to change filters or delete other messages which might be mixed in. Doesn't Crabby receive chat messages the instant they are received in-game? If so, it is substantially more capable.

Updates for what, for MastrKraftr? I was sort of expecting to get some bugs on 1.3.1.3 but it seems like its pretty darn stable. I might do dual-box support soon just it should be easy.

You can choose to have it update every 300ms to every 10 seconds so its definitely a nifty program. I was worried for a bit that it wouldnt get updated after 1.18 but the dev came and fixed it nice and quick

Yeah, kidding, butas often as you've been updating it I expected to see another one here. Seems like your code is solid! I'd love to see the development on the dual boxing. Only thing keeping me from getting all my crafts in the 20+ cause I'm stuck synthing shards and crystals.

Hmm, I can tell you the bot itself has no special conditions for that unless a dialogue box appears when you select the synthesis from the recipe menu and the game pops up an error, in which case it has a 50% chance (it is programmed to check for running out of materials, but the dialogue box might trigger the same bot behavior to reset).
IIRC they added some "trade failed" if you go over someone else' maximum, but I could be mistaken. If so, there is a chance they added something when you fill up on shards.
I'll test this once a couple LS members are on so I can fill up on shards, glad you brought it up though, it's a good question

Yeah, wasn't sure I'll just set it to do a specific amount where i don't go over for tonight. They stack to 9,999 right?

Yeah, both shards and crystals stack to 9,999.
Edit: Ah hah! I finally had the rare problem with abilities happen to me and was able to fix the problem.
Edit 2: You get a chatlog message when you make too many shards, but detecting it before then would be difficult. It says (sic): "You are unable to carry that many [en]."

Huzzah!
I left it running last night and low and behold, Thirty minutes after I went to bed, my computers graphics card said no thanks, and reset, booting me out of game =-(
Looking forward to the dual support. Let me know if you need a lab rat.

At least it's not a bug!
I got a game server error last night and got a bit of info about them for the future, when the bot will support reconnecting.

I don't use Windower, so I'll definitely need someone to try it out. Right now I'm refactoring some code to accommodate 1.3.2.1's changes. The UI stuff and most of the ability-related work is complete, shouldn't be too much longer before there is something for the dual-box people to test.

Edit Meant to ask how cycle recipies is supposed to work. I clicked for the tooltip and it didnt help much. Not sure how to enter the recipes I want cycled.
For instance I make Brass Nuggets, then want to take those nuggets and make ingots 5 times?
If the recipes are 1 and two do I just put in 2, to cycle the first two?

Cycle mode only works for similar synths
So if you wanted to do multiple crystals into shards, or fish of the same type you would set the recipes to loop at the top of the window, for example
- Earth Shard
- Fire Shard
- Wind Shard
- Other Recipe
- Other Recipe
- Other Recipe
- Other Recipe
- Other Recipe
You would check off cycle mode and use recent recipe number 3, and it would make wind, fire, earth, wind, fire, earth...
For a number of synths, you would put as many fine sand as you have total (or use "All")
So it can only do them 1:1:1:... it can't do 1 of something and 3 of the next. I've thought about this in the past but not sure how I would like to implement it since there are quite a few options, most of which would be different across dissimilar synths. Would also need to add some kind of list, and way of adding/removing items from it. So fairly substantial UI changes there.

That seems to make sense. But the associated item amounts with the synths wouldn't cross over. At least its good for rank up synths!
BTW I've gotten to r20 on one craft in 2 days just chugging away. Had to stop to synth crystals, but this is really the only one I've had give me so much progress. The other ones don't have a built in wait for synthing, so if I lag, it just cancels the whole process. Sucks when I'm watching netflix. With this one however, it doesn't mind waiting a little longer. So much further ahead than any other I've seen. I'm hoping as the popularity of the game picks up you'll see a lot more support for the program

I held off on adding abilities for quite a while while I tightened things up for success without abilities... now with them, it is quite a beast. A lot of people don't care about the overall speed or notice certain enhancements this bot has which others don't, but those seemingly minor things really total up when you look at it over longer periods of time; even with the naturally-paced wait (not spamming enter), it is relatively quick and successful.
One good example of a big time saver is no-peek abilities. It would be a lot easier to make the bot highlight each ability to determine which are available, but I couldn't bring myself to implement it that way because it wasn't how I had envisioned it, and it would become terribly slow.
