LegionDark is now open! LegionDark is an emulator running off the Darkstar Project core coding. We have been working on this project for the better part of 9 months now, with the sole goal of bringing back that old school feeling but balanced for level 99!

Leveling to 75 couldn't be easier with custom food, custom commands like @regen (gives a Regen, refresh & regain tic), 3 x exp gain, and 2 x Field of Valor / ground tombs rewards. At level 75, the game takes its first turn as some of the custom mods are removed giving a player the feel of party based play once more. Level sync is working as intended so forming parties with little down time shouldn't be a problem as all maps and outposts are unlocked from the start! The end game content on the server can be difficult as it is aimed at Party / Alliance to encourage community cooperation, enhancing the experience for all users on the server. The server is not designed to be easy and soloable as you will be facing enhanced NM's like Shinryu at LVL 140. If you are interested in a challenge and want to see what a level 120 King can do, by all means this is place for you.

The server is built based on what we believe the developer should have done with the game. This is a great opportunity to go back and camp the NM's you were never able to camp before due to RMT or other players and get those drops you really wanted. Legion also provides a great opportunity to finish the story lines that you always wanted to see an ending to! Currently all storylines work up to the end of COP exactly as they were in retail when originally released. Play with other players who truly love the game while attempting one of over 200 custom Notorious Monsters on the server without the hassle of having to enter a credit card every month. There are many F2P MMORPGs out there but only one that provides a the feeling of accomplishment this game does. Announcing the LegionDark Server Transfer Tool or STS for short. The purpose of this tool is to make migration from other servers to Legion a simple process. STS is a new service exclusive specifically to LegionDark that allows character data to be transferred from ANY server platform, no more losing all your progress if you choose to change or move to LegionDark.

~STS Service exclusions and guidelines:

~ This service if for new characters only and cannot be used to add items or progression to current players.
~ This service is limited to 1 character per player (sorry not taking mules)
~ Gil in excess of 1,000,000 will not be ported over. (dont mind splashing the economy but no tidal waves)
~ We will only port in gear under lv 76 from any 99 cap venue. (some may not exist here, besides you need something to do!)
~ HQ Hard to get items from players transferring from easy-mode or pay to win servers will be excluded. (sorry no relic weapons bought from NPC's or donations)
~ GM Accounts are excluded from using this service

~ ** Please understand that in order to maintain balance on the server each transfer will be looked at individually with careful consideration given to the originating server. Because of this please expect a 24 hour turnaround (possibly more if heavy volume)**

Voidwatch Chapter 1 has arrived to Legion!



Exclusive to Legion once again we are the first to roll out new content in the ever growing private server community!

In Voidwatch, bands of six to eighteen members will square off against “Voidwalkers,” savage entities that have breached planar bounds to invade multiple landscapes spanning past and present. By slaying these manifestations of terror, you and your stalwart comrades will gradually come to discover the true nature of the threat that has all of Vana’diel up in arms.

To spawn a Voidwalker and initiate battle, simply examine a planar rift while in possession of the requisite key items. Combatants have thirty minutes to dispatch their foe, after which time the Voidwalker will disappear and the operation will be deemed a failure.




Participation Requirements

Level 75 (99 recommended)
Possession of the following key items:
Adventurer’s Certificate / Stratum Abyssite / Voidstone



Getting Started:

If you meet the requirements the voidwatch officers in Windhurst Waters, Southern Sandoria, and Bastok Markets will issue you a stratum abyssite and a voidstone (an additional voidstone can be acquired daily by returning to any officer).



* All of the Quests are not coded yet, simply join a city in the past, and talk to the Voidwatch officers in all 3 present cities to obtain abysites

Progression:

Once in possession of a voidstone and stratum abyssite, Voidwatch progresses the same as retail with a few minor changes. You can follow the chart listed here:

and head to a Planar Rift to spawn the mob. Only one Rift is scrpted per zone:

You must kill every mob in the tier for your abyssite to upgrade! We are not using the NPC to handle the upgrades so when you have killed all mobs in that tier your abyssite will automatically upgrade and the old one will be removed. You will not receive a message this has happened so be mindful to check you KI's. Every player in the alliance will receive credit for the kill, and the abyssite upgrade if they are on that tier, as well as the 10-30k+ exp per kill. Mobs auto de-spawn in 30 minutes!

Major differences from retail:

· You do loose your KI's on upgrade! (this means you can help with lower tiers but cannot pop them). You can however go back and get a fresh T1 after completing your T4.

· There is no "Voidwatch" status applied.

· There are no treasure chests only the drops in pool.

· There is no proc system.

· You cannot use Atma.

· There is no distance variable causing you to kicked from the fight.

· Voidstone is only deducted from the player who popped the mob.

· Voidstone's do not accrue automatically you MUST talk to the Voidwatch officer daily to get voidstones!

Voidwatch, Bayld, and 119 Reforged.

Beginning in T2 you will notice you begin to accrue the currency "Bayld" from kills. This currency will be used in conjunction with certain items coming in future chapters to upgrade your 109 reforge armor to 119 (similar to the legion points system). We will release more information on this and the actual trials closer to the release of Chapter 2.
