i tried to do this and it works but if you refresh the game the one you do when the cheat is activated was not saved

Just go to a battle before you - refresh the game. I told this in the video mate.

i did that.. still when i refresh the game the ones i did while cheat was activated is gone..

I asked few of my friends, everybody's village is stays the same all the buildings ... I don't know why it happens but try to clear the caches - maybe that helps.

huhuhu its still the same problem even i clear cache bro.. nvm.. ill just upgrade my 2 chicken tower left in time..

but the 1 mat cost for recruit is still working though.. only instant build and instant improve is not working for me
