And it actually comes pre-flashed with custom firmware?

I would recommend anyone that buys on eBay reflashes their card to be on the safe side as well, unless playing russian roulette with your account(s) is nbd.
It's a pretty hot take for you to suggest to the masses to try their luck with random chinese counterfeit sellers lmao.

Its most likely from the same factories, that happens with most products manufactured in china, the problem usually is quality control. More "premium" devices will get tested, these cheap products usually dont
Its cheaper for the manufacturers to send them out without undergoing even basic testing and just refund/reship if the product doesnt work
There also wont be any bans with the card because i am (and I think hes too) talking about commercial ebay sellers, the cards are brand-new and come in the original packaging. They ship straight from a warehouse in china so shipping takes a month
In the end it doesnt matter where anyone buys their card from, either get the cheap option and potentialy spend more money/time or pay more and know what you get
In germany we say "Wer billig kauft, kauft zweimal", "whoever buys cheap, buys twice" and I think that fits here
