Forum Changes
The following suggestions were implemented:
- The suggestion to send a welcome PM to new users was implemented. It contains all important information to get started on elitepvers.
Technical optimizations have been applied to the forum and bring your the following changes:
- You now can set the [Solved] prefix in the Technical Support forum on your own. In the Thread tools at the top of the thread you'll find this option:
- The WYSIWYG editor was disabled. In the past you could choose it here. Everyone who used it is now automatically using the standard editor as the WYSIWYG editor had some weird bugs.
- Some old hands might know it, other were maybe still using it: the obsolete forum style. Due to HTTPS compatibility issues we had to disable this style.
- A new BBCode was implemented: The [LANG] BBCode. You can use it to make parts of your thread only visible to users with the corresponding language.
Code:[LANG=DE] Users with german language settings will see this sentence [/LANG] [LANG=EN] Users with english language settings will see this sentence [/LANG]
General Rules
Finally! After changing the local rules we also gave the global rules a face lifting. We performed the following changes to the new global rules:
- General remarks and helpful links are placed at the beginning of the text
- The violations are now ordered by their severity
- Old rules got removed, new ones added (e.g. URLs in usernames are now officially forbidden)
