What gets you banned (hacking-wise anyway)
1. Getting caught in a map too high level for you. This is a 100% guaranteed ban.
2. Getting caught in a wall by a GM. Your only possible defense is to say your account was hacked, and that is unlikely to work these days.
3. Getting caught in a dungeon hacking. Yes, a GM can follow you in.
4. Getting caught by a GM doing any other hack that is obvious.
5. Certain Argating hacks trip an "alarm" and usually result in a very quick ban.
6. Getting caught AFK leveling by a GM. This is the LEAST likely way to get banned, since most people will only PK you instead of reporting you.
Screenshots and videos sent in by players and even VGMs will not get you banned (too easy to edit a screenshot or vid), but they can get a GM to start investigating you. At that point, the GM can ban you pretty easily.
Being on a lot is NOT going to get you banned. Leveling "too fast" is also not going to get you banned by itself. GMs have better things to do than go through hundreds of pages of logs. They only look at your character if you make them suspicious. Keep a low profile, don't hack DF or on heavy-traffic servers, and you should be ok. I've been hacking for over a year and never had a character banned. It's just a matter of reasonable caution.
