hymm i use like you windows server x64 but i never get this problem with cast_server.exe

can you give us more info from dbmon?

Cast_server and Session_server always crashed like this after 1 - 2 minutes


my cast/config.ini like this:

Hey guys I have a few questions. First thank you guys for still being on here and producing work. I use to play about 10 years ago and had my own Pserver set up back then on my LAN. I'm currently in school for Network Engineering/Cybersecurity and wanted to set up a server again so I can get some more hands on and of course play my old favorite game.

With that being said is the set up just about the same as the original server files released? I remember using SQL 2000 with service pack 4. Using hamachi. I can pretty much figure it out myself just wanted some insight on anything that's drastically different before I dive in head first 10 years later lol. I've DL all the files on the main post already. Do I need a windows server OS or can it run directly on windows 10? I have a PC that's going to be dedicated for this server only but it's currently on W10 I can spin up a VM if needed. I also remember there being a windows specific launcher. Sorry the post is so long winded and thank you for the release.

Update: NVM I decided to just jump in and got everything working thank you lol

i think you get problem with cast because your cast server cant connect with server. (im not sure about that) because no one of us don't know what dbmonitor shows when your cast server get crash. can you tell us what with session server but if cast crash then probably session have the same problem with connection to mssql server.
any way this only my guest, like i write we need screen shot from dbmonitor when cast get crash.

i have search everywhere in EPVP but i could not find a registration page intended for mssql 2014. could anyone help me, please share to me your "register.php". i had once before that works with mssql 2008. but now it wont work i don't know why. i am no knowledge of php or html. or just please point me to the right direction. thank you very much.

All register will work with MSSQL 2014 if not works that mean you use new PHP core for web server.

any way if you can give us more details about error when you try register using web site. like 127.0.0.1/register.php or similar. will be easy find solution for your problem.
