Can you run a 2Moons private server on ubuntu?

im wondering if you can run a 2Moons private server off of ubuntu this way i dont overload my laptop with all the server stuff and its only temporary until i go public then ill be switching to a dedi host

its possible however im not pro so i am not sure but it shud be possible as ive heard some1 did it before. But you need to make runnable instances of all .exe's so it will run on ubuntu also u will need to host mssql server from another windows pc.

ubuntu is an operating system but its mostly used for web hosting with linux like interface.

Actually back in the day we used Ubuntu to run Text base games known as MUDS.. Lol

Ubuntu is a linux platform with a graphical interface (normal linux is completly code)

It is possible, good luck either creating a virtual PC, or converting all .exe's to .sh lol

Wine will not host a msssql server however. There is no registry within Wine if I remember correctly; mssql needs a registry to write key values too.

aww **** so i just wasted all this time downloading **** to find out ubuntu doesnt like sql databases... ****... well anyways it was annoying as **** to keep right clicking and using wine to open the RAR archives lol ill post an SS up here of my desktop
