when ther server is down and u try to log in it says a message that the server is down for maintnacne. how can i put this on my server???

They editet the packets, just as when u create a new char theres an announcement for it..I think.

They use a tunnel server in between the game server and client. From there they can use it to reply to client etc. When the server is down, it doesn't mean the server is actually down, it just means they are using the tunnel server to stop and respond to the connection instead of letting it through to the login server.
