That calculation of 13 hours for the bundled script namek303 uploaded earlier would be approximately correct, and if anyone downloaded the script before the edited version will only find that all MOB beginning with 'A' would have only been modified.

The lastest script upload by namek303 will correct this.

Although this script will work it actually takes way too long to complete and in my opinion, over does what needs to be skinned, for example, bosses and dungeon MOB and some NPC's.

I decided to upload some scripts to do the changes by maps (incremental) so to save on wait time with the 809 version.
Only change when you need to and what you need.

So as you all know at this time this must be used in conjunction with ceh430
Although the PINKmonster Mod will do the trick, it clashes with the data.paks internal path to monsters/textures and can cause some MOB not to skin correctly while zoomed out, even worse with a zoomhack.

Quick Tutorial:
  • Extract with Winrar
  • Open data.pak with WinHex
  • Execute .whs
  • Wait until completed
  • Bot!

Appoximate install time for maps:
  • BraikenCastle - 3mins
  • LoaCastle.whs - 4mins
  • NorthAres.whs - 36mins
  • NorthMorte.whs - 36mins
  • Denebe.whs - 40mins

Wow that is fast, ive spent a few hours testing the timing with the scripts I made up and don't want to put people wrong.

I have an old PC so the timing may differentiate between PC specifications?

this is what i found works.. Ps. i don't even have dual core.

*sigh*

sometimes winhex works SLOW. and at times it runs through scripts MUCH faster. i dont know why, some times i have to open winhex and start the script, if i see it goes slow then i abort it. and close winhex and try again. i get better results when i restart my comp and try.

you will notice that at times winhex works quick and others it works much slower, just keep trying that ( closing and reopening winhex and even restarting) until you have a faster speed for the script.

thats what i do.

THINK about it like this, is it worth your time to waste an extra 10-15 minutes just so the script can finish many hours earlier?

of course it is!

but I mean it when i say this script WILL take lots of time. so if you plan to go out or something then leave it running then.

OR do it when your going to bed or something and leave it when u sleep.

I currently don't have any figure for how long it takes for the script to finish, because i just made it and i'm using it now.

so we use the data pak in the 2moons folder, right?

ok I am having a few problems with this
Are you supposed to be in game when you use winhex to change the data.pak file?
and weather im in game or not It says the file is write protected and it cannot change the file with those scripts... Error 3 or something

any suggestions?

yea i haven't been able to change the AI values using the monster editor, tmme , after using this. i can only change the attack delay of monsters.
Is there anyway to fix this?

hey everybody! first of all - plz donīt flame me! i tried the search function for 15 min or something but there where no good solution cause i canīt search for the word "bot" -.- my problem is that the moonbot stop attacking if i use the pink monster mod cause it thinks that iīve been under attack. it just flames ainīt attack anyway. iīve allready tried to change the brightness by graphiccard but since the game is in window mode it donīt work. is there any known solution to fix that problem?...
