How can I make garments have no hats?

I was editing a RoyalDignity and thought to myself, "Jeez, this hat sucks terribly." Is there a way to remove it? I've searched all over and found nothing. Figured someone had to know.

Tutorial would be nice.

You can't really. You could remove it, then re-create the top of his head in the area that the hat was. But you can't remove is so that you can see your regular hair. At least not that I know of.

If you were to ini edit it to the GoodLuck garment then customize the dds to look similar to that of the GoodLuck, you could PROBABLY do it...

the garments that have hat are there to stay.

the meshes have the hat so editing the dds or the ini file won't help. so at least to my knowledge you can't remove those hats like you can for example tao caps etc items.

Ye u can in Armet.ini only thing u have to do is get the codes fore it, i mith make a guide some time with the help of asenites guide about edit armor.ini.

the garments don't have a separate hat. ...so you won't find them in the armet.ini >.>

u can its possible but u must be a great editor artist

go to texture
search the garment files
with hat
like 004182305
thats the garment but this time with headband
then search for a head example in : 003130209
thats a tro armor with a head
its just copy and paste work
or make a head all ur self ...
make sure u use an editor program wich can save as .dds like nero photoshop

There u go

You can remove it but it will be like a big hole in ur head.
