Sorry for the long post just started rambling a bit there.
it takes more then just some few guides to upgrade from 5017+.
You need new cryptographer, blowfish encryption, packets etc.

There is not many skills work.
weaponskills work is only fb,ss,rage and phoenix if im right.

You can only Spawn SOB´s with custom name on this source.

Eg. a GUILDWARGATE = SOB
POLE = SOB
..
...
.

i place a npc somewhere with the mesh of taoistmoon but i want the npc to be called fred lol how wud i do that?.

in npc.txt
it looks like this (is example and not correct)
Code:

Name=NOOBNPC
Type800 is 8000 for the look in the npc mesh or what ever.
you put 8000, because u always put an extra 0 on it.
Then put 8000 in ur database for the npc with the id that u want to use this.
Name is the name of it
Now change the name in npc.ini in ur client for the id 8000.
And u got a custom named npc.

You will have to make a new NPC inside npc.ini file

thx guys worked a treat. 1 last question if you dont mind, the Guard mesh is set to mods.ini and i wanna make an npc that looks like a Guard how wud i change it to work in the npc.ini?
