Hello, thanks for sharing source and all your work.

I'm having some problems with the "Login Server" it Could not connect to mysql server.
I've edited the configs files and add my IP and database name correctly already.
its weird because the "msgserver" is working fine! and It's connecting.
only login sever is acting up

tried my local ip and hamachi neither working.

You can try replacing the MySQL driver / connector for the project. Should be named MySql.Data.dll. You can replace it from or from NuGet.

Can't download patches as it is red in mediafire and tagged as infected.

You don't need the over 10000 patches, they're auto patcher updates and they contain injector code for launcher. They'all always be marked as virus.
Patch 5003 afair I submitted the edited Conquer.exe (which I was not supposed to do since I didn't support executables with FPS or whatever changes), you can skip that. Just download the 5001-5007 patches (skipping 5003) and you'll be fine. It does not contain virus at all.

Can you please provide a simple guide for this source for those who are willing to contribute or play around with this? Sorry I am just a newbie and wanted to open this game. I found your old guide but I can't make it work.

Please provide some guide on how I can make it run completely just for my offline.

I am using this guide but it uses different source.

I tried to run directly the LoginServer from bin after I changed the database information in Login.cfg but I have this error.



But the MsgServer is connected to the database.



I only have these files including the database which is cq.sql



I got it working now, which launcher or loader do I need to use to open the game? And how can I create an account?

I can't manage to make the client work, I already used CSV5.2 and also CSV1.0.0.5.

After I downloaded the 5517 client and patched the 5001-5007 it gives me this error using Conquer Loader v1.0.0.5 and also v5.2

guys its never too late..i start learning programming and c# in hope to learn it well..and have my own little server..and be the GM that i wish i could have before..
