So if its pointless as you say in title, Why did you release it when its not even about private server questions or releases? Well it depends on how some people look at it if its useful or not but my opionion no.

As far as I know it isn't encrypted at all.

It is, after a specific patch that I can`t remember, but it is in the latest clients.

Just to let everyone know.
Around patch 5100(ish) they encrypted the MagicType.dat the same as ItemType.dat and such.

Before that its still encrypted the old way (which very few know how to decrypt).
So if you want to add skills to your 5017 server or Binary server, your pretty much outta luck.
