yah the attack calculation in 5165 is completely ****** up and ideally needs to be completely re-written. If you aren't comfortable/capable of re-writing the attack code, there are some temporary fixes posted around the forum (there was a fairly long thread in this section not long ago discussing ways to lower damage dealt)
Try searching for that, it should help you out alot (it basically just divided final damage by a larger number making it smaller)

That's quite not true. I managed to fix the attack within 5 or 4 code lines for an friend. The problem comes from upgrading with dbs the quality or the level...I'm not sure.

So you are saying that within 4-5 lines of code you got the code working exactly as it SHOULD (not talking about reasonable damage here, I'm talking about the correct order of calculation and separation of stats). Seems unlikely from what people have posted about the attack code here (I've never even dl'd the source and have no plans to so I wouldn't know... just saying I've seen some ppl post snippets and it's a complete mess)
Not saying it's too hard to do, just saying that you really would wanna re-write most of the attack calculation to get it done correctly.

You can but that's a hell of alot of converting, especially seeing as base coEmu has no skills coded into it.
You could use it as reference but you would probably be better of writing it yourself as you would have to change just about every other word (cause lotf and coemu are structured completely different so all the calculations and checks are going to not know where the hell to refer to)

As a note, if I remember correctly, I added attack calculations(every kind, except perhaps including tails and potency and ****), that were 100% correct. It even included base damage from skills.
It wouldn't take much to convert em.
