Client Crash Problem

I'm trying to play my friends server but when I run conquer.exe, it encounters a problem and crashes.
How can I fix this?

Your OS (bits?), client version, what error does it show, custom client, etc?

It was a conquer.exe problem, I download my friends conquer.exe and it crashed when I used his, and then when I downloaded a clean one, it worked.
