[request] atack calculate 5165

Hey all , I find one bug at ITEMS !! When you upgrade items , you atack is increase very much and you give 1 hit to anyone players ! who know to fix atack calculation ?

I can promise you, no body will release perfect attack calculations.

yea I know :| that but...not perfect atack calculation but even how to run a server !
Because when upgrade WEAPONS IN MK ! you give 1 hit to anyone !

uhm guys just make your items -7dmg and not -255dmg that all your problem will be fixed

That's not it at all because it happens with normal players with -7%.

The damage calculations being done are far from perfect, so does the source.
This is what should be in the calculation:
- Damage affected by potency
- Influence of the dragongems.
- Own attack and target's defence combined with potency calculated to an actual amount of damage.


As many people said, nobody will release a perfect calculation.
If you can't perform such things, you obviously failed at mathematics.

Atually,

Calculate initial damage (taking into consideration +damage),
Then add on dragon gem bonus.

This gives you the Base attack Damage.

Then calculate initial defence (taking into consideration -damage),
Then add your Tortoise gem bonus.

This is your base Defense value.

Then you choose your min/max value for Atual attack damage by doing a rand.

Then perform your damage equation, which is something like

((((((Attack - Defense) + Fan Damage) * Potency) / Rebirth Value) / Total Bless) - Tower Defense)

But obviously its alot neater than that, and i cant really remember it because i havent worked on a potency source in a very long time.

Ill try and release a 5165 Damage calculation properly at some point.
