Using Broken Wings Level source (CoMY)

I'm trying to change the ports for the server due to conflicting account servers on my network.


now i've tryed to set the ports differ in general.cs (Just search up 9958)

And when i login it says in the cmd line : Successful login from account

But it says loading or logging or something for a good minute and crashes.

As far as i understand this means it's not connecting to the gameserver

Which if you still have general.cs open and found the port for auth server you will see the port for that too.


Asuming you can change the ports on the Source and login through them (I changed my port in auth server to 1217 and changed it in both server.dat and cidserver.dat


Connecting...... Success! Loading.... Crash

Changed port 5618 in Gameserver section on source to 1712 and tryed this again.

Connecting....Success! Loading.... Crash



Curious to see what this problem could be lead to,

u might now have the account thing right or ur Auth is messed up u can change the ports to what ever u want but i think u ahve to change it in server.dat to.

I did, the problem is simple to notice.


Port 9958 = auth server.

Source = Change
Server.dat = Change


Where do i locate 5618 or 5816 i forgot what one it is?


This means it is located elsewhere client-sided.

Because TQ Digital reverse-engineered the protocol for their games.



I'm asking for someone to help me locate said spot so that i can use 2 TQ Digital server on 1 IP address.

Well try for port 9958 open port 2222 and try that.

Btw r u hosting it or got a VPS?

what would port 2222 do? besides i have a dedicated server that i built myself that can run 3 or 4 conquer servers stably
