In the past few years I'm sure anyone who's been on epvp, has noticed dwindling numbers of good programmers. Why is this? This is due to the wide spread of what is known a Stupidity Syndrome.
More general information about it can be found here,
Identifying it in the Conquer Private Server Section.
- If someone is asking for you to implement something, they probably suffer from this.
- If someone is using the TQ Binaries, they're probably very deep in with this disease.
- If someone is still using LOTF to make a public server, they probably suffer from this.
- If someone is making a "server just for their friends to play on", They probably suffer from a light case of this, because anyone trying to make a server for this purpose will lack motivation and pressure.
- If someone has no prior knowledge (of C#, or any programming), they may suffer from this.
- If you notice someone asking several extremely basic questions, they may suffer for this, or may just be lazy fucks who don't know how to use
- If someone uses the "" (incorrectly), "" or "" smilies incorrectly several times they more than likely suffer from this
- If your not grasping basic OOP concepts by the first week of starting C#, they may suffer from programmers stupidity syndrome.
Programmers Stupidity Syndrome
- If you notice someone calling a source they just downloaded my (not referring to myself, but as the posters self) they may suffer from this.
- Once again, if someone is using the TQ Binaries
- Once again, if someone is using LOTF
- Did I mention using LOTF?
- Asking someone to implement something for you without trying for atleast several days.
- Someone using VB (and or .NET VB) to make a server
- Somebody who isn't posting asking questions, and is just sitting in the background reading, lurking what people post and their tutorials, working out things for them self, definitely does not suffer from this.
- Someone who asks good questions does not suffer from this
