NEED HELP ABOUT LANGUAGE

There are 2 problems which i need helps.

1. I want to speak other language in game, example:CHINESE. How to achieve it? [Main problem]

2. The game is English version. How I translate it become to CHINESE?

1: Hopefully someone else can help you with this. I tried to look into supporting non standard characters ingame (there MUST be a way because there are tons of servers with arabic text).

2: You will want to download the chinese version of conquer and use parts of the client to translate your own client (interface, strRes.ini (think that's the file with system msgs... I forget) as well as a few other client files to make it look as english as possible.


As for server side, you'll have to re-write all of the server messages and npc in chinese yourself.

You will not be able to read the Chinese in the game, so do this and you will:

(Guide for Windows 7 only)
>- Start
>- Control Panel
>- Clock, Language, and Region
>- Region and Language
>- Administrative
>- Change system locale
>- Chinese (Simplified, PRC)
>- Apply
>- Restart

... seeing as they are trying to get it to be in Chinese I'd think they'd have the common sense to have the language already supported by windows. This is about translating the client, not about adding windows support for the language. Unless you change a bunch of things in the client, you cannot sent Chinese characters.
