but the people of q and hco have not learned coding when they born they have asked other coders and they used guides just like me im learning it and i will tell everyone 1 thing iconquer will not fail in the first week like the other servers!

What are you talking about i am pretty sure Hybrid aka InfamousNoone knows how to code since he made a guide in the guide section about it
Q built his OWN source from scratch and it is very stable he didn't go borrowing other people's sources and go posting 100000000 threads

Ya he made a video tutorial on C# that was great. Yet Evolution has probably watched those videos and still doesnt know his *** from a hole in the ground when it comes to coding

I've always found the best coders are people who don't waste there time making useless posts, I know several coders who are excellent Who have like 2 forum posts.
And the only times they do post is when there helping someone. Just my point of view.

-Only reason people release source is cuz its a piece of shyt. They know it isn't stable and they release it while they do a server recode. Even with a dedicated it would sux0r.

If you are fed up with regular CO you have pleanty of alternatives
1. Play Qonquer (Qonquer.net) it has much better rates, is extremely stable and is prolly the most complete private server out there
2. Play CoEmu has a great future a little unstable but magicman does a decent job
3. Play CoNorth don't know their site but they seem to have some of their shit together
4. Get a life, Get a Job, Get a Girl friend, and do good in school (this is prolly the best alternative of all lol)
Unfortunately for myself i am working on the 4th alternative but i recomend Qonquer it is what i play and it is pretty awesome.
Decided to put this in for anyone who wants to make a Private Server Project the right way
This is a link to Hybrid's C# Guide which will deff help, i haven't had time to watch it with college coming this month but i will deff try it nxt summer i hear its good and i suggest you watch it

Try and register a domain it costs like 5 dollars. I mean tell me a coder atleast has that much to spare.

I didn't read through all the pages but ... wouldn't it be a great idea to throw all efforts together and make an epvp privat server???
Would make more sense than like 20 server projects that don't really make it past beta.

To anyone that can help me. I have downloaded silkbotters one click, started it without a problem the server connect wonderfully. What I'm having problems with is launching into the server. I have serched all forums, amd I'm using the chinese launcher.exe 8.0.5 I have changed the ips in the launcher with winhex. Both the server strength and update bars are full, but when I try to launch it, i get an chinese error message and "nothing" can anyone help me with a tut on setting up the data.pak...
