Revive effect

Revive effect

Sup,

I have a reviver guard, and the revive skill all coded perfectly, However it does not show the revive effect. I'm using almost the exact same code that normally shows the revive effect on other sources.

Any help?

Oh and, The character does that funny action when you revive someone else so its working correctly.

When you revive someone using the skill from a player, does it have that effect?
If it doesn't, then your skill might not be coded correctly. Did you packet log it from TQ?

No it does not.


The skill is coded correctly, I'm using the near same exact code for revive as I did with impulses source which did show it on a different client version.

maybe the effect file names were changed?
if they appeared on a different client then check its file name and search for it
in the client you are using now, unless it doesn't work that way xD

...it doesn't work that way lol.

Skill.use packet with valid info including revive skill Id and you're good to go

Yeah well this **** is clearly ******.

I'll try it with another client for the sake of my personal satisfaction.

And yes pro, I've done that, Why did you lock your hellmouth thread btw?

Gotta agree with kinshi on this. All spell displays are done via spell use packets (or in very specific case, attack packets). If all information is added to the packet (and its structured and send properly) then the effect should display... simple as that.

@ closing the thread. The project is temporarily on hold due to issues still popping up relating to System.Random. I didn't have time to write up a bunch of different posts and public statements at the time so i felt it was easiest to just close the thread till I was free (yay for rushing around constantly last few days!)
