The issue with adding more modern servers is that they tend to use new jump. While we can easily add them, they would look like they are speedhacking. Any server we add to the network would need to also be using original classes only with classic old jump. Most servers are not willing to join the network because it exposes their players to our content and they fear that we could end up stealing our player base.
The interserver system itself though is easily expanded and if/when we launch a more modern server, we would be looking for more modern servers to partner with. There's also the concern of those servers not having the same level of cheat protection we do. I cant control what their clients do or do not have in place.
No EU players are willing to play a NA server and no NA player is willing to play a EU server. Ping is always a HUGE concern to conquer players. Most people consider conquer unplayable as soon as they reach 100+ ping. That's why use use an auto forwarder in our advertisemnts. It means we can use a single link and people (usually) end up where they should without having to think for themselves.
We have advertisements posted on various arabic forums for original conquer. We also tried to hire a few different arabic staff members to help promote it but none of them ever worked out.

Alright seems fair, enough reasons not to allow the latest moderns servers to join the cross server events.
I still do think that if you have the chance to add a modern server to the nerwork (just for advertisement related reason).
Look for a modern server which just got started or is going online anytime soon.
They are looking for these kind advertisement sharing deals cuz they want a good start for their server and being able to become partners with established names is something nobody would disagree to (i can know it since im working on a modern source for a long while already)
Yes you'll be giving these servers a good start with the redux network but lets not forget that eventually in the long terms the classic servers will grow in playerbase without doubts just cuz of these modern server's their playerbase.
It probally will sounds odd to you but arabic forums is just another way to get in touch with the arabic community's to gain "extra" players, that is why arabic forums arent important for egypt server owners when it comes to getting players, they are just another way to get extra players such as YouTube videos.

The interserver system naively runs patch 5517 and I work on it whenever I have time away from the Redux network. Ideally I'll have something ready to launch by the end of spring for those who dont want classic but also dont necessarily want current patch. That's when adding more modern servers to the network would become a thing.
The nice thing about that is every piece of work I do on the new source makes the interserver system more complete so it saves me re-writing all the code 500000 times.

So we've tried to switch to a weekly patch schedule so that we arent taking things offline every day or two. This weeks patch is going live today and while most of the changes are behind the scenes in preparation for cross server guild war, we wanted to release some new cosmetic options for people.
Added Divinity Weapon Set
We've heard your complaints that weapon skins could only be applied to specific weapon types. This set works for all 2H weapon types and includes something we've never tried before... the ability to toggle between looks!
When equipped you will have a small button up near the nobility icon. Clicking it will toggle you to a different form, either good or evil.
This weapon is for those who might not want to force a single style on themselves or might want to show off how nice or mean they are feeling on that particular day.
Here's a preview!
Added Cobolt Axe
Similar to above, this skin can be applied to multiple weapon types. Club, Scepter, Axe, Hammer, Sword and Blade. It's a little less flashy but still quite stylish. It happens to go quite nicely with the FrostWizard garment as shown in the picture!
Bug Fixes/Tweaks
-There's been a long standing issue where players with backswords couldn't sign up for ladder tournaments as they werent wearing a sword... silly typo in the code. All weapons should properly work for signup (any 2h wep, shield, blade, sword or backsword regardless of what hand they are held in)
-Cleaned up some out of date system messages that were no longer relevant
-Cleaned out Mall selection (old garments). Added a Random garment item. Right click it to get ANY of the garments that have been added to the server (except donator garments)
-Reduced leaching exp
-Re-added CP scaling to castle defense drops
Interserver
There was an issue in that the interserver is based on a newer conquer patch.. as a result we were reading modern weapon skill strengths. Those have been corrected back to the same as on our servers so the dmg will feel a lot more natural in the interserver.
We've also added the first version of cross server guild war! It's not 'ready' but it does a few key things...
When you join the server, it tells the interserver how many 'tickets' you have. Right now those are based on your duel score in the main server (more duel wins = higher rank. Just to test the sorting). If you log in, it re-calculates your guild's ranks (if you out rank someone, it demotes them). That way the top 6 players online from your server are always the leader/deputy leaders for your server!
Guild gates, pole, scoring all work properly. At this point it just boils down to sanity checks (kicking you out to the waiting map, adding a timer before you can re-enter, stopping people double logging same character into interserver, etc). After that we will work on adding customization to the war such as how players will get potions, bombs and guild funds for repairs.
We plan to hold the first interserver guild war on the 1st - there will NOT be a split prize pool for that war but rather a weekend long drop event for the server that wins.

Once again probably the most complete and well-managed (classic) server out there.
There's new weaponsouls and garments added pretty much every week. New tournaments are being added every month along with new quests and things to do in order to keep everybody happy.
Not to mention the 24/7 response to any question you might have. You don't even have to go to their website, you can just click the 'help' button in-game and type away.
They just keep innovating and innovating finding more ways to improve the gameplay over what it once was. It's a Play2Win server in it's purest form. Donating might speed getting good gear up a little (not even that much), but aside from that the only thing that it brings you is character customization, which doesn't influence dmg.
All the classes are also pretty well balanced. The only class that is currently falling behind is Warrior, but they already have plans to have warrior counter all those STG waters, which is a great idea since they're really starting to get OP. Fires are also a tough opponent on this server and Trojans are pretty much where they need to be. Archers are able to defend themselves with a 2 handed weapon, which you see a lot in this server, and are very important during GuildWars in order to take the gates down or grab the pole. Every class has it's up sides to playing, which is very well done.
The server is also very competitive with Guilds. Certain Guilds are hated, certain ones are loved, but there's always a Guild for you. People are always looking for new members and are extremely helpful to new players. I myself always try to help some new people out whenever I can (nobody knows my char name so this ain't really bragging if you're gonna start ******** about that) in order to make them stay. The community is stable around 100-150 players on each server.
C'mon get crackin'. This beauty has been up for, what, 2 years? And I don't see it dying anytime soon.

I want to join the EU server, how do you make gold/dbs there guys? I've been playing in UG classic i have a pretty decent fire there, but i don't like the staff so much, so i think im moving to yours. Can you guide me?

It works same as conquer 1.0
-Hunt monsters to find items (mets, dbs, +1s, -5, etc)
-Use those items yourself to upgrade your gear or trade them to other players
-Mine to find gems
-Farm waters to get gems, bless gear and spam for sockets
-Compete in PVP tournaments to earn prizes such as dragonball, +1 stone or metscrolls
There's NO way to purchase gear with cash or CP. All items come from hunting monsters and trading with players.

Warrior changes are in place now. We will be tweaking the values and adding a visual effect for the debuff in this week's updates.
When you hit someone with dash, it 'crushes' them causing their armor and bless value to be reduced by 5 percent vs melee dmg for the next two seconds. Hitting a target that's already debuffed will cause the effect to stack and the duration to be re-set. The effect can stack up to 3 times.
-The effect applies BEFORE dash's damage causing it to bypass 5 percent on its initial strike, 10 on 2nd, 15 on 3rd
-The effect applies ONLY to physical damage but is a debuff to the target so anyone hitting them will bypass that bless (huge benefit when working as a team with a trojan. Debuff their armor and have them pop them for really high burst damage)
The reasoning behind this change is we dont want warriors to start 1 shotting other players (thats trojans job!) but instead to push them into a slightly different style of gameplay. These changes rewards warriors for chaining consecutive hits and also makes them very strong in group events when paired with allies. They are still very much a damage class but they are focused on their utility rather than their burst damage.
As part of this change, we'll be re-tweaking XP shield so it's balanced around 1v1 situations. It's already 'useless' in guild war cause it will be instantly cleansed by waters. It serves to ensure warriors don't dominate too much while also being a small nerf to tank waters which have been an issue historically.
NEW PATCH
Today's patch introduces the updates to the dash skill (increased duration, visual effect, etc) as well as fixing some bugs, massively improving the interserver system and also adding a new weapon soul!
The wind club is ready to take on all opponents!
This is the first in a series of 4 Elemental weapons we will be adding in the next few weeks. All 4 of them will be premium (3 soul) weapons with intense effects... I know some players prefer more subtle weapons so we will be sure to balance them out with some more moderate visual styles. We are spreading them out to avoid overloading players with choices.
Wind: Club (released)
Fire: Sword/Backsword
Water: Blade
Earth: 2h Weapon
Currently that's the order I plan to release in - it may change based on how complete each weapon is.

My first opinion of this project was it looks great, However i downloaded the client and that is where it all went wrong.
Firstly i downloaded the client from the Triumph page (  )
Tried to create account, after 30 attempts i finally saw the text at the bottom of the box saying username already taken ( this should be more obvious)
So here we go, lets open the client and login... that is not what happened.
Autopatch failed to run, the client would not update (could not connect to the server) i disabled my firewall incase this was an issue. Still a no go
Secondly, I tried with a client that i was Directly linked to from Pro4Never.
Success?? well autopatch worked. Yay!.. Unfortunatly, i still could not login to any server, Apex (invalid username and password), Triumph(Unable to connect to server) , OriginalConquer(Invalid username and password).. Trust me, the username and password was not invalid..
So my opinion changed from looks great, to sorry this doesn't work. Moving on.

I have a feeling Triumph's login server is down. This is the first time for me personally to witness this.
I've had the exact same experience with autopatching before though, I had to manually install the full patch in order to get it patched properly.
About Apex and OriginalConquer, I believe they use their own database so you'd have to register accounts seperately.
Edit: Apex and OC seem to be down now too.

Seems that triumph's host had an issue lastnight. It's online now.
The confusion you had is that each server uses seperate accounts.
The account you made for triumph only works for triumph, if you wanted one for apex you'd have to make one at
I'll definitely be taking a look at some of the response messages when registering an account.

Today was our first test of our new cross server guild war system.
Aside from some minor kinks, things went surprisingly smoothly! here's some pictures from the event.
We will be gathering a list of bugs and general feedback players discovered during the war and implementing it in the final version o the war.

Conquer Classic: HD
It's here! Finally you will have the ability to push your classic client past the 1024x768 max resolution. Here's a basic rundown of how it works and the options it opens up.
-By default full screen is enabled: It will auto scale to game to fill your screen
-You can disable fullscreen mode by using configure.exe (returns to default 1024x768 window)
-The draw distance ingame has been increased. This will reduce the number of 'offscreen' shots. Things will feel a LOT smoother as a result.
-The max cast/jump range is NOT changed. While this will help you see more, you wont be able to attack from further away or anything like that
Cross server guild war
We've made a number of improvements to the cross server guild war using feedback from last weeks war. The EU and NA interservers are both online for further testing. This weeks war will be hosted on the NA interserver and will end at 18:00 UTC (14:00 apex timezone).
As a huge bonus, Shannara conquer has been added to our cross server system! This will make the war this week a 3 way fight. Apex+Raw vs Triumph+Original vs Shannara
This war will be pretty hectic and i'm super excited to see how people enjoy it. The more people we get added and the more servers we get added to this system, the more possibilities it will open up.
Warrior Changes
We've taken feedback from our first round of buffs to warriors to bring them under control. This patch includes a shift in power for warriors so their armor crush passive on dash effects armor + tortoise gems instead of armor +bless. This will result in warriors dealing less damage to low defense targets like trojans and archers and fires while dealing the same damage to waters.
Europe Drop/Exp Event
EU region won the last cross server guild war so this Friday till Sunday they will get 30 percent bonus droprates and exp rates! Be sure to log in for bonus lewt

I participated and the gw was so fun. Everyone should at least make a level 1 on this server, to log once a week for some classic fun, made better by better people!

This is a fully functional, ready to play server emulating patch 5065. It will have some missing minor features and the odd minor bug but as of the 3.0 release this should be a fully working source for you to use in your own development (no guarantees that it will be pretty though)
I've been hosting this server live for a week now and in this update have added, fixed or tweaked all the things users have reported to the best of my ability. There may be new bugs introduced by my changes but...

Hybrid/infamousnoone and myself have been working on a network which allows for players from different servers, using different client versions to play together seamlessly. We have it to a working state and are going to be starting to add partners to the existing network.
It's not 100% and we have plenty more to do in terms of content but the system itself is solid and fully functional.
