I don't know the solution to your problem, unfortunately.. but i can tell you in the English version, the majority of text seems to be stored in the

Str.ini

file, in Conquer2.0>ini

If Chinese conquer uses the same filing system, it might just be a matter of replacing it.. but i think they do have some differences to us, and they are always a few patches ahead.

yea, besides the patch difference, id think it'd only be a client change (since thats all i need)

but id the chinese version still free to play?

You can change the interface to English quite easily, just replacement of files between the English client and the Chinese client. However, some things will still be in chinese, such as NPC dialogues, as they are not stored in the client, but sent from the server.

There is no way to directly translate a language. Computers are still a long way away from understanding natural language. Chinese and English are very different. If you look at existing translators like babelfish, you'll see that they produce rediculous translations, and these are based on years and years of work. It is possible to create an application that will integrate with the co client and uses systran or similar, but unless you have a good programming knowledge, forget it.

And the Chinese version of CO is free to play for under Lvl 15 characters, then it's pay 1 play. (iirc).

Ok so now, my problem is everytime i translate clients from chinese to english so i can play the game understanding what is what. Once i translate it and i log in i get this error. http://img440.imageshack.us/img440/8647/cabalver1 26208062721320ts7.jpg And since there is no scroll bar or no text, i cant click the ok button.
