Borland Delphi 7

Hey guys. I want to start contributing to the e*PvP forum with more than just explaining stuff so I picked up a copy of Borland Delphi 7 (because i read most hacks here were done in Delphi, C++ and Visual Basic and from reading other stuff many people thought Delphi was the best) anyways, I currently have no knowledge on any type of programming but I was wondering if anyone knew of any websites with tutorials and such. thanks guys.

Books are best for learning.
And I mean a hard copy, not an e-book (unless you wanna print the whole thing out).

No, never get a "..for dummies" book.

I'd reccomend Mastering Delphi by Marco Cantù (There are versions for Delphi 7, and 2005)

Others well rated books are Inside Delphi, and Delphi in a nutshesll (O'Reilly)

borrow them from the library?.. u can extent it for half a year at onli around 0.30 usd here dont know how is it there though..

*****. i haven't been to the library in so long i forgot it existed hahaha. well, yu get books for a month and then it's 30 cents a day for every day after that until it gets to $25 and then they make you pay for the book :?

Theres a Personal Learning Edition, I think, but I'm not too sure. I'm sure you have the initiative to know where to download a cracked version anyway.

Or if you're not into cracked software, give Delphi a miss and use something close to it. Delphi is derived from the Pascal language, which is alot more avaliable, and you can find better compilers. Ada is also a nice Pascal derived language, and is quite similar to C in some ways. A little more difficult than Delphi.
