nope, it wont let you do that. alpha people tried.
one thing i found for things that it wont let u trade is this
if you have enough patience, after the quest is over, they kinda forget about that thing, because they assume that ur done with the pots. anyways, keep them on ur noobs, and 3 months later or something u can probably trade them. gl wit that, im gonna do that.
it worked for me a few times last year fer quests where you couldnt trade items
