Ubuntu + CO = ?

Hey,
I know this has been discussed before but I was wondering if anyone had any luck running CO/Co Installer on Ubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid). Not through some **** VM, but any emulator or maybe even Wine?

With a virtualbox or wmware it sude work.
Dunno if there is any other ways.

Yeah, except those are so freaking slow when it comes to gaming and DirectX.

I would suspect Wine would work just fine with it?

People have attempted using Wine before with CO, but the interface gets screwed up and doesnt display as it was intended.
