To start off I would like to say that I have not been contributing to Epvp like I should have. I will be more of a contributor.

I give credits to the people who made the files needed for these releases and credits to me (.Light) for the guides. I made them completely on my own no copy/paste.

I realize this is my first post. I created a new account because I wanted to change my name. My old account was "keba0thu". I don't like that name anymore.

Down to business.

I will be releasing the following guides and helpful things that I have found.

1. Guide to Decrypting an Itemtype.dat file

 Spoiler

1. You will obviously need the program. You can get it

2. Move the program where you want it.



3. Copy the Itemtype.dat file that you want to Decrypt and move it in the save folder as DatCrypter.

4. Drag your Itemtype.dat file on top of the DatCrypter Icon.



5. Edit what you need to edit.

6. Drag your Itemtype.txt onto the DatCrypter icon and click "Yes" to overwrite the existing one.



7. Move your new Itemtype.dat back into the Conquer Directory and you are finished.

2. How to change a Monster's name or a Guard's Name.

1. Go to C:\OldCoDB and open up MobInfos.txt



2. Hit CTRL + F and search for the current name you want to change.



3. Change it.



4. Hit CTRL + S to save it, close it, and you are finished

3. How to edit Top Halos

 Spoiler

I will be editing the Top FireTaoist Halo

1. Locate your file(In this case it will be CODirectory\c3\effect\other\gamefire

2. Open your dds file in photoshop. If a dialog comes up asking to load sizes click "Load default size".



3. Put your text over the existing like so...



4. Make the two text layers invisible.

5. Delete everything from the background except the following.



6. Now click "W" or click Magic Wand Tool and click on the white space.

7. Right click the white space and click "Select Inverse"



8. Click CTRL + X to cut it.

9. Make your two text files visible again.

10. Click one of the text layers and hit CTRL + V to paste it.

11. Move the pasted image to the spot it was in before you cut it.

12. Delete the background so by now it should look like this.



13. Go to Layer/Merge Visible.



14. Click CTRL + A to select all. Then CTRL + C or X to Copy or Cut.

15. Hit CTRL + N to create a new file. For my example the image size should be 256x128 Pixels.

16. Hit CTRL + V to paste the image.

17. Click File/Save As and save it in the place of the old halo.

18. Make sure you save it as Explicit Alpha and click Save.



19. Login and test your new halo edit.

4. How to change your login screen.

1. Get flash decompiler trillix program

2. Locate your start.dat in data\main\start.dat

3. Drag it on the Flash Decompiler Trillax icon.



4 Click Edit and then Images



5. Click the folder and choose your image.



6. Click save and test it.

TO EXTRACT FILES

1. Click Extract.

2. Choose files to extract.



3. Choose file to save it in and click extract.



4. Enjoy.

ur new but u didn't say taht u dont knw who decker is u just said all who think i amd ecker, what can i do to prove that i am not... well first.. not knowing who the **** decker is

And only one part of this thread has to do with private servers.

You are saying editing a login screen, Editing halos, Changing Guard's name, and Decrypting itemtype has nothing to do with Conquer Private Servers?
