I am using Windows XP SP2, and I am on a gaming computer, but that makes no difference for CO.

i was using patch 5063 with itemtype and auto patch was off
one day i just couldnt see quality items non weapons so it is serverside as i never changed my files
so no matter what you try good luck but its not working

Either u are in lala land or u are so good at programming that u manage to crack the code and get the AniEdit to WORK BUT NOT SHARING.

If u wanna show off and not share, it is all within ur rights, but stop calling ppl ******* stupid/ dumbass or watsoever for not being able to follow ur so called "guide" that would never work...

And if it works before patch 5063 then non weapon items are probably not made like +1 s ... then it wouldn't detect those on any patch ...

I had not thought about that before but I believe I only tried it with weapons. I can't remember if it detected a non-weapon at sandelfs or not. :S My tao has non-weapon uni gears. Upon dropping them they disappeared. My CO client did not even show it as an item on the ground. I was able to pick it back up because it recognized it as being there but it was invisible.

I am using ANI edit Version 2.0:>>SI.s_AniEditR4.exe with the latest CO patch. As stated in the other part of my post, I dropped a weapon but I don't remember if the sandelfs I killed dropped any non-weapons. I tested it on non-weapon items and sure enough it did not work. Restored it to normal with my backup.

To anyone thinking of reinstalling the game then manual patching to 5063 DONT DO IT it still doesnt work

paulnixon is right...ive had this working before and ive currently reinstalled it correctly and it works exactly the same as every other aniedit that has been made. Weps and gems are the only things of quality that show. TQ have been changing things around lately so who knows, maybe theyve fixed it again.


I forgot to add that ppl shouldnt be flaming the others that say its working. Its been a couple weeks for some of those posts and at that time it probably did work. It has worked in the past and im gonna assume that you've just done something wrong and dont realize it. Be sure that youre doing it right before getting mad and calling ppl liars. You might actually get some help with the problem or at least give some incentive for the makers to update the programs by showing them some appreciation for making the program open to the public instead of hording it to themselves.

I hardly think you got a virus from this program. I used it and scanned before and after installing and didnt get one. Try another program you recently downloaded.
