See special items on ground(AniEdit)!!!

Updated it to Version 2.4. Now everything should work for patch 5039.
That is my first release of my own AniEdit. It is simple to use and show only real special items(quest items like aweto still looks as always).
Patch: 5053(Only newest V2.3 and V 2.4!)
Version: 2.4

With this program special items on the ground looks like that(That is only default you can change it if you want!):


And Gems look like that(can be changed too!):


For all: + items can't be shown with this or any other program!
So please don't ask if it can detect +'s.

What you have to do? Not very much!You don't have to make a backup
because the program makes one for you(in yourCOfolder/ani/MapItemIconBackup)!

1. Download the program(Look at the end of my post under Downloads)
2. Start it with a double click
3. Select your MapItemIcon.ani(yourCOfolderani<-you will find it here):
Step 3 will be skipped if you have CO in the default folder(C:Program FilesConquer 2.0)



4. Select which Pics you want to have:
4.1 Here you can choose the category:



4.2 Here you can choose the pics which shows the quality:



4.3 Here can can choose the pics for the gems:
Choose one pic in the first tab if you want only one pic for all gems or choose one pic in the second tab if you want for each gem another pic:


5. Select which items you want to be shown specially(hide useless don't work at the moment):



6. Press Start editing
If the program has finished you will see this:



Press ok and restart CO and hunt for special items or drop one to see what happen(be careful that no one steal your items!). From now on you will see every quality item on the ground[if it is in your screen and if you keep it updated].

Tip: In BI the archers let many quality items lay on the ground.

Important:
-The MapItemIcon.ani/mapitemicon.ani must be exactly written like that otherwise the program won't make an Backup.
-New patches can overwrite your MapItemIcon so you have to check after every patch if it is still working(for example drop a quality item). If it don't work just run my little program again(won't need long).

Changes:
Version 2.4 Updated the hidefunctions so they will work again.
Version 2.3 Updated for the new patch 5035(without hide functions)
Version 2.2 Added new pictures, added hide for pots and money and has some other changes in the script so it is a bit faster(not really noticeable).
Version 2.1 has more pictures to choose from!
Updated it to version 2.0 Now you can choose different pics and my program has a bit different background.
Updated it to version 1.2 Now the hide-normal-items-function works! For more informations see page 7 in this thread.
Updated it to version 1.1 Now you can edit gems too.
I will work on my program so that it can hides the normal items and show Mets/Dbs. I think I will implement some other functions in it but let you surprise. Or do you have some ideas? Post them here!

Note:I can guarantee that there is no spy ware or any trojan in this program! I wrote this because some scans report Troj.Spy.W32.Agent.btl or something like this but it is a false positive! So you can download it and run it without having fear of an infected program. Have fun with my program!

For those who need an original MapItemIcon.ani here it is(unpack it and put it in YourCOFolderani):

ben using your program since you put it on epvp...but nmow it is like not showing any items that i couldnt see myself...like it shows gems and weapons
but doesnt show anything like rings armors ect...odd think tq patched there items to make them not appear with your hack ironically...

hmm, I downloaded it okay, and everything, but when I run it and restart a client to see I cannot get anywhere. could it be because of the new patch? Or do I need to exit out of all clients and run the the program?

Since item type on ground doesnt seem to be working right I thought Id try this out

yes all clients have to be closed when you run the program.

my virusscanner keeps deleting it cause he finds worms and trojans in the program

Funny since the patch is only out for 1 week.....

just be patient.
it took TQ months to patch this so it is only fair to give the author at least another 2 or 3 weeks to find out what TQ did to obstruct this.

besides you can always pick up all items to find out if you missed anything...

make sure the disk is not full or write-protected
and that the file is not currently in use.

the wierd thing is i scan my comp took away all my junk files and even made sure the disk wasnt full and the file wasnt in current u soo. idk

i took a normal item from the ground and i found it refiend that mean it don't show all the items why ? lots of time some refiend items don't be shown but some of them i see why ?
