MW2019/WZ HWID bans carry over to MW2
Hey everyone, I can confirm that HWID bans carry over to the new game this year. I got perm banned in MW 2019 over 2 years ago after trying Xmodus. I was instantly handed a HWID ban. I completely stopped playing and called it a day.
I was curious to see if a HWID ban from Bnet would carry over to steam and it definitely does. I only played for one hour and was permanently banned.
I really want to play this game and I don't want to use cheats. I ordered the same exact motherboard I have from amazon and plan on sending this one back as "not compatible" is there anything else I should replace as well or will this be enough to play regularly?

For what i've seen and heard you should change your mobo and drives (all ssd and hdd). But ofcourse it could be more than that. I'm HWID banned too and haven't tried it myself to see if it works.

I replaced every piece and still got HWID ban.
No idea what to do, I haven't chaired since early-2020 and just want to play with my buds again.

Before you start replacing your PC parts, wait for the release of the game & appeal your ban.
It's very possible this will be like Vanguard where they administer transfer bans for the beta & then lift them after the beta is over. Also your ban will show on the Activision website as "eligible for appeal."
So, wait for end of October, appeal the ban, go from there. It's possible your HWID ban from MW2019 won't affect you after that.
If it does, you can either use a spoofer or follow this part replacement guide:
New motherboard, and either replace drives or RAID0 two of them & disconnect the rest.
Use a login that isn't a Microsoft account. You can do this if you disconnect from internet as you install Windows 10. You can get this setup on W11 if you do the setup on W10 this way then upgrade.
Changing motherboard should change Windows key as most mobos come with Windows key set with them. You can check to confirm this based on the motherboard you get. I am less sure about this part since I just get cheap Windows keys from a reseller & don't really worry about changing them freely whenever I want. They do grab it.

When you appeal the ban what is your suggestion to say? I am in a similar situation. I used a chair in 2020, got perma banned on mw2019 & wz. Although, I was able to play mw2 beta. I checked my activision account and it says “eligible for appeal”. I’m just looking for any advice on what to say. Thanks.

I have appealed and I have been told that the decision is immovable and that I do not remove the ban and I want to play legit in mw2 and I do not know whether to buy the same motherboard and if I do not work? Buy a spoofer always to play legit? It doesn't make sense

1. Take a chance on a perm HWID spoof (find a reputable seller with vouches and confirm they've had success with your motherboard)
2. Use a temp spoofer paying monthly for it (there's always a chance the spoofer gets detected and the new account you're using gets banned)
3. Buy a brand new motherboard (can be the same model) and brand new hard drives. This option seems to remove the ban 99% of the time but some unlucky gamers get other random PC parts flagged so it's a risk.
4. Buy a whole new computer

Where can I find a good seller for the first option? I only have that possibility and change the mobo the other 2 are no good for me I have been paying spoofer for many months and I don't want to pay more

This isn't true. At least not for me. My pc was HWID banned a year ago. I got curious and tried to play the MW2 beta on PS5 with the same account and it worked just fine. Maybe being on PS5 was the key difference? Ive got a physical copy of MW2 coming on launch day so i'll try again at launch. I'm also planning on buying the game on pc. I suspect it might be something specific to your ban OP. Not all bans are equal. Some more serious than others etc.

Were you able to figure this out and get hwid unbanned? If so, how? I really do not want to keep paying for a spoofer and would like to just go back to playing normally. get back to me ASAP!

Bans carry over to new cods?
05/13/2021 - Call of Duty - 3 Replies
Hi all, Please Please respond to this.
For example, I get warzone banned. Will I be able to get a new modern warfare game in the future? A Game that's not released so a NEW Game/modern warfare. This Year a cod called: Call of Duty vanguard is coming. Can I purchase that one if I am banned on a previous cod? Like a HWID ban. Is that only on the COD you got banned on or all the cod's/unreleased ones?
Thanks
