Has anyone tried this method to unban you PC?

Hello,

I heard of a method to unban your PC from the Activision servers.

Method:

-New legit account with a real number and email you own

-Make a new Windows account

-Buy MW2019 full game

-Play without cheats or spoofer and wait for a ban (on the new windows account)

-Contact Activision and say you got banned for no reason. Tell them you bought a 2nd hand PC on ebay or whatever

-Show them a fake receipt if you have to

-They unban your account and PC


Apparently some people tested it and it worked. Has anyone heard of this method or tried it? Don't wanna waste money on the full game.

If HWID bans carry over to MW2, its definitely something I would try for MW2 if I get banned.

So I was told some information about a method of unbanning your PC from the Activision servers..

So the method:

1.a Make a new account that’s had NEVER had cheats on.
This has to be a legitimate account!! With a number you own and a email you own!!

1.b Make a new windows account (do not be signed into the one that’s used cheats) This is a must

2. Buy Modern Warfare the game!

3. DO NOT load a spoofer or a cheat!!

4. Play the game and wait for a ban to hit!

5. Contact Activision on their support website and say you have got banned for a unknown reason. Tell them you have just bought your PC on EBAY. Show them a fake receipt if you have to. (Google one and photoshop)

6. Your account gets unbanned and so does your PC.

Not true, there’s some that have gotten instant SB from steam due to previous HWID ban. Most likely will turn into a PB. But maybe worth the shot to appeal with this method and possibly removing the HWID ban and unbans from acct

I had some friends that was hwid banned with battlenet and we're all ingame and playing right now. May give it a couple of days but yeah. Could be just luck

Then it may have been luck then. My conspiration got "enlightend" when i saw some cheat providers saying the same thing that i thought. That if you purchase with steam you'll not get hwid banned. But yeah, i and they may be wrong.

I bought it on steam and I'm not banned (yet). No shadowban, nothing.

I was banned during the Vanguard Beta last year

This would only work IF the steam version did not use ricochet, which it does.
Therefore, this will not work.

At the moment, there is no definite working theory as to why some people are getting banned and some aren't, and tbh, I don't think anyone at IW knows either. Just try your luck and if you get shadowed, get a refund.

Aren’t there different stages of HWID bans or something like that?

Like maybe some people have hwid bans that carry over and some people have hwid bans for one specific game. Idk

Apparently a lot of legit pc players got banned too. Twitter is full of people complaining.

I take it back for the reason that it seems at the start, people did not Get a ban. But on the 2nd day of the beta, people got banned left and right because of the hwid bans.

Bans are transferring during the beta to BNET/Steam MW2.

The bans may lift after the beta, or your appeal may be granted. They did this with VG where they transferred bans & and administered SBs easily during the beta, then back to normal after.

So first, wait until release & see if your ban lifts on it's own or if you can appeal it.

If that fails, and you are confirmed HWID banned, you have 3 options.
