Thus, the demo of Mass Effect 3 is finally out and I must say it does not meet my expectations … It has been completely erased! Remember, I am currently completing my third play through ME2, with one quarter to come before the ships of game in itself. The single player was just absolutely fantastic and the multiplayer is well balanced and not exaggerated. Let’s take a detailed look at BioWare tease for the upcoming title.

Single Player

Before you begin, you will find that the Cerberus Network, which was in ME2 (Mass Effect 2) menus, now the Alliance network has been updated. Your first task is to choose your experience. ME3 you can play through three different ways:

Action – In this mode, the game focuses on combat and all calls will be played as scenes, for a minimum of dialogue options available. * Note: there is an option in the pause menu to call the talk mode, you have all calls automatically selected by the computer can read the answers.

Role Play – This is the traditional way to play Mass Effect with a balance between dialogue and struggle.

History – The combat system is very low and the game is mainly due to the story. It is literally an interactive movie.

I decided to go with the role play, as that’s how I used to play for me. I think once I get the full game, I’ll probably try the other modes. You will then have the option, the appearance of your character and the class you want to play with you (Adept, Sentinel, Engineer, Soldier, Infiltrator, Vanguard) was added to adjust. Once this is complete, you will receive your return options story where you come from and what kind of person you are looking for, hero either, ruthless, etc. are known Then you get a choice of teammates are killed or Kaiden or Ashley (an event which took ME1) or a third option, the companions of several states dead squad (events ME2). The character I chose a difficult childhood, growing in the streets became a war hero. My class was a sentinel, a combination of biotic and technological capabilities and specializes in the assault rifle, shotgun, pistol and SMG heavy.

The Beginning

The demo starts in ME1 classic mode, with a brief summary of what has happened so far in ME1 ME2 &. You see a picture of the earth you hear a voiceover from Admiral Hackett in an interview with Captain Anderson about something big on the way. I’m sure everyone has a good idea of what it is. You start on the ground of the Alliance Board of Admiralty actions that have taken on arrival ME2 DLC. Their knowledge of the reapers has prevented you from too many problems. You also get a first impression of the Games has a new character, James Vega. From the start, you can see that the graphics are almost a polished version of ME2. They look great, to say the least.

On a walk with Anderson, you have in your team mate years, Ashley Williams. Her look has been updated in the first 2 games and I must say it is definitely an improvement. It’s like the board to find out about face to begin Reaper situation, reports of flooding in the earth under attack. At this point, my adrenaline is building and I beg you to take the reapers. Possible, then the stronger the silence you hear a rumble … it happens. A Reaper lands in the center of the city and begins wreaking havoc. Cue Commander Shepard.

The first thing you notice is the scale is much larger than before. It takes a lot for you not to stay there, look around and take in the scenery. There Reaper attack and you have a job to do. And if you just sit there for a while, the Reaper is before you finally come dangerously close. You will also notice that there’s no music, to hear what you, the destruction is happening around you. I think that was a genius, because it puts you further. The scary thing is that if you go into the pause menu, you can still hear the cries massacre, and people.

The gameplay

Click Start, you will notice that most game mechanics have been modified and optimized. Running for example, s feel more fluid than it was in ME2. There is a new Dodge / Roll function that gives the movement a more Gears of War feel. I think adding this was for the better, because this rate has more action than the previous two games combined. You now have the opportunity gaps, either by pressing the “A” gaps in the short to maintain the “A” button down for a run at large gaps and jump to climb ladders. Two things that I did not, however, the symbol of action and options that were converted automatically. For me, it feels like a mess on the screen and take the game. Fortunately, you are able to activate it in the pause menu.

Basic Combat

The first group of enemies you encounter are sleeves that can be done quite easily with the gun you Anderson. The system works the same target from the previous games, and no significant change. The heat sink clips are back in ME2 so.Remember, too, because it is the beginning of the game has everything a pop-up Tips tutorial. Your next task, you leave with a few more shells, but this time you have ammunition. Remember that awesome melee attack of the trailer? Now you must try it. A melee attack standard only by typing the key “B” is, but if you keep it down, you have a strong attack, which comes to a point that is out of your omni-tool.

The next round of the battle that comes after a Reaper takes a dreadnought class ship, much like when they blow up. They are against a new enemy type called a cannibal. They look like envelopes, the only differences are that they are larger and can / carry weapons. In this part, you get to try your skills. With carrying capacity “Throw” and most other biotic and technological capabilities, and felt very different than in previous games. Previously, the animation of real biotic throw much slower. Now it is much faster and more curved. This means that you can catch a better angle and goals that are hidden behind objects.

After running a little, your goal, radio and new for the extraction of Normandy can be found. In the process of finding the radio, you fall on the classic assault rifle Avenger M8. Once you turn on the radio, you must defend your position against a few small waves crashing to the cannibals from heaven. Exactly where you have virtually eliminated the ammunition shortage, comes from Normandy to pick you up. And it’s not Normandy Cerberus, and it looks like a new paint job and get the color combination of sport and symbols. It sent a shiver down your spine to see the old girl.

Fast Forward

The next part of the demo takes you a little further in history. You are in a shuttle to the homeworld of Sur’Kesh Salarian with Liara, Garrus, and badass election, Wrex.Salarians the woman had a Krogan, assistance may be able to stop a war between Krogans and Turian. Ensuring their safety, may also help garner support for Shepard, both of Krogans and Turian, defeat the Reaper. The English, who has thrown into this is that Cerberus tried to kill the Krogan woman. There is no explanation as to why, but I’m sure will be addressed in the full game. Wrex is committed to the back of women and jumps to get the coil before they are allowed to land. After Shepard turns with another war on their hands, Wrex remains with the shuttle while Garrus Liara with you and get the Krogan. Start your squad is old pal Mordin Solus support the Krogan woman. Your job is to ensure that the Krogan he brings to the shuttle.

Skill Tree

The first thing you notice is that you have available to spend points on the powers of your characters. Everything looks the same from ME1 and ME2 add points according to skill tree you choose. The new issue is that to improve performance by choosing a certain, opened another tree. Now you have more than one choice of how you want to develop your skills. It is not only a power leveling up 3 times and the fourth, which was either greater efficiency or effect larger radius than the amount of time you can exercise a power increase to 6. Take the overload capacity, for example: the first 3 charge level ups affect the speed and damage, on 4 RADIUS or damage to compromise is the fifth rate or charge additional neural shock and sixth additional damage to shields and barriers or higher with larger radius of damage.Obviously, you do not have the ability to self-level, but where’s the fun in that?

Advanced combat

Once it has now stabilized, you can start your mission. You now have an expanded arsenal of the M96 assault rifle Mattock, Eviscerator Shotgun M22, M9 and M3 SMG Tempest Predator pistol. They start with checkpoint activation, which starts sending up the elevator to the shuttle. Enter Cerberus … those bastards. This is your first chance, you are your fellow skills, but also use your own. Switching between both your team and your skills are seamless, as in the last 2 games. The first enemy you are facing assault soldiers and centurions; difference that the latter shields.

Please note a new feature / weapon is that it is now available shells by class. My character has a shell sentinels lift, which acts upon detonation, as the lifting capacity of biotic for the enemy in the air. I also know that the soldier class fragmentation grenades, but I’m not quite sure about the others. Something else that caught my attention is when I picked up a weapon mod for my gun barrel as a high caliber. It seems that the updates to mod weapons returned from ME1, but could be much more manageable this time.

As you fight your way-through the building, you come across your old buddy, MajorKirrahe. He led the Special Forces team is Salarian Virmire When You faced offAgainst Saren for the first time. The next new enemy That You go up Against areCombat Engineers. These guys remind me of the Engineers from Team Fortress 2,going around setting up turrets, Which adds a new element to the game. From Here,You Can Tell That AI HAS stepped up the ict game, as your enemies Ensure ThatTHEY stay behind the turrets, using it for cover fire while THEY try to kill you.

After clearing this area, you continue your journey upwards. You now come across Yet Another New Enemy Called Guardians. These guys run around with a future versionof the riot shield. Ltr; a little harder to take out, luckily the purpose shield THEY HASyear carry eye-slit hole That You Can shoot through. Along the way, There are armorupgrades aussi That You Can find Laying around sometimes. Continuing through, you’re faced Another Small wave Mordin is telling You That the elevator HAS gottenstuck. After Taking out the soldiers and reactivating the elevator, you take it AnotherCerberus and then a Third-squad.

I then headed up to the next area, but not Before picking up a Pistol Scope upgrade. IPulled out my pistol to test if the upgrade and it DID Applies Actually, I Was Able to zoom in further Top Than before. That Was definitely a nice touch That Biowareadded. Finally I made it to top floor and to my dismay, There Was Cerberus waiting for me. After Taking down more soldiers, I Had to Authorize the release of the pod tothe Krogan Was in the landing area. In the middle of the pod transfer, this behemothof a mech lands in front of me.

It’s the Cerberus Atlas, complete with pilot mech too, THEY make the Heavy Mechs in ME2 look like toys. Now I Have to protect the pod and take out the Atlas; time to show why Commander Shepard is the best in the galaxy. The first thing you do is Have to take it’s shields down and then deal with the armor layer, much like ME2′s Heavy Mechs. Phrasal, I use mine and Garrus’ Overload Ability clip while emptying After clip. Once the shield WAS down, I Was Able to Utilize Liara’s Singularity and Warp Abilities. While this is going on, you Have to dodge the Atlas’ RPG’s and shotgun blasts. If you get to close, it grabs you with ict giant claw.

Once you’ve taken it down, there ‘s A Few Cerberus soldiers to clean up, Which Should Be Fairly Easy Compared To What you just Fought. This is the final set of enemies you face. The shuttle lands then Wrex and the Krogan female boards it, but not grabbing Before Wrex’s shotgun and blasting away 2 Enemy Stragglers. At this point, you’ve Completed the demo.

Kinect Abilities

We had the Opportunity to play the second hand of the demo Utilizing the Kinect. I Must Say That using the Kinect Was a really cool change from using the Ability wheel. It made beating the Cerberus Atlas batch cutting easier Because I Was spamming the hell out of the commands for Garrus and Liara. A lot of people are hating on the Kinect For That, They Do not Have to aim use it. The only trouble is learning the names of the characters and the name of the moves, you know the goal oz characters and Their moves, you-can just spam the hell out of it. I Was Saying, “Garrus, overload” over and over while saying “Liara Singularty”. It’s easy for using secondary aussi, Which I Said “grenade”. It was so much more convenient opening Compared To up the menu and aussi Every Single Time Does not break the gameplay.

Conclusion

All I can say, is That I can not wait for this game to come out. I’m staking my claim now, that ‘it Will Be Game of the Year for 2012. Bioware HAS Stated That Even the graphics seen in the demo arent The Same In The Finalized version. The game soi Will Be Even More polished and higher resolution textures Have. The demo WAS the perfect way to tease fans and build the hype for the conclusion of Shepard’s epic story. Take on the Reapers on 03/16/12, When Mass Effect 3 hits stores.
