So yea as the titles said , me and my network are working on a new server with the Files which OGR used and we will make sure to make the most secure server to avoid nexon eyes not as "publicity" system . anyway , i am glad to announce that here also i want to say that we are not willing to release/sell the files so PLEASE dont ask about both of them . we might need a little help but i guess not we are almost done but just saying . anyway i will keep the topic updated . stay tuned .

Sounds awesome, atleast with some tweaks to the files. OG had some faults.

But that error is same as kevy has/had. It seems like a configuration error, not having the files myself cant really tell where but re-check the files you've configurated.

edit: Wait, this is the "master server" that kevy shared on some post? You cannot make server with those files... *facepalm*

Seriously, if you can't even fix a basic SQL connection error, why bother trying to release a server? Do you even have an idea what could possibly be wrong?

Don't have a huge mouth about releasing "the most secure server" around. As long as you do, there will be people who'll try to prove that you're wrong.

Also Nexon chasing OGR was a pure lie. Did you "really" think Nexon cared about a little server being played by 50 people, while there are Maplestory servers with over 5k online? They announced it because they didn't want to offend donators. They had a plan of shutting down of OGR for a while. That's why they closed their cabal server as well as AO.

I realized that from the moment they first announced the closing of OG. I hope others werent so gullible. =/

I guess you have just to wait. Someday you will have a new server which used the OGR server files. (because some ogr needs money again

)

Maybe some people find a way to get the files.

Its nice to now some one else is making a Pserver of AO.
I have played OG/chinese server.
OG was to high in IM price (almost same price as nexon!).
Chinese server wel to much had to be changed to get it in english/working, but it had a cheap IM.
