Can anyone explain me what's happening in tokyo ghoul s3? Haise sasaki is Kaneki who lost his memories? Or is he different person who received kaneki's powers? And, if you wanted to continue reading manga after season 2, which chapter do you have to start?

season 2 is not really following the manga so you have to start somehwere around chapter 40-60. the anime is missing a lot of details/changed some things so reading the whole thing wouldn't hurt

Do you mean S3 is not following the manga? Or didn't S2 follow the manga either? (If I remember correctly it was something like parallel universe the manga and anime S2)

s3 started airing just recently right? s3 should be like the manga again.
with s2 they just made their own spin off, leaving a lot of important stuff out or changing it completely
there are no parallel universes in tokyo ghoul

Yes season 3 just aired, alright I see now. Might as well better read manga after s1 anime.
