.ibf File Extensions

Now, I've been seeing all these .ibf files attached to the downloads but have no clue what the hell I'm suppose to do with it.

For instance in this Auto Heal thread I was looking through.
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Now, I downloaded the auto heal Rar file but not the .ibf file since I don't know what I'm suppose to do with it.

Someone kindly explain to me, Thanks.

Yes, I know I ask a lot of questions haha. :D

All you do is rename the ibf file to "rar" or "zip"

They are just attachments which were before the forum update.

Also tell a DM to fix an ibf if you think other people might want the prog or edit.

@Cokaine > First off the .ibf file extension came from the upgrade in forums.

Yes in most cases the .ibf file can just be opened with [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...], as there either a .rar or .zip file. But in some cases they are just the executable (.exe) file itself or it could be the source file for a macro/bot.

If you see a .rar file below the .ibf file that was a thread that I repaired. You'll also see a foot note at end of first post in fixed threads, it would look like this (Last edited by a1blaster : 10-09-2007 at 17:35. Reason: File attachment fixed ). Just use the .rar file. I had left the .ibf file so members could see how many views the original file had received and for those that know what to do with them.

Now if you come across a thread or post that needs a .ibf file fixed look in the stickied section where the thread is posted, you'll see these threads:

Just post a link to the thread or post you want fixed and I'll get to it.

DM is abbreviation for DM2000. You should state MOD not DM.
You might also link them to one of the threads shown above. ;)
