Yes you need to choose a windows VPS to be able to run a shaiya private server.

I know right some people gonna say you can use wine and also convert the database to MySQL but this is not a trivial task.

Aladrios didnt wanna make a new post just wanna ask u ...which 1 do u recomand ?i mean how many ram do i need to run a shaiya server ?

It depends on how you want to use it, but as a test server you only need about 512mb ram.

If you wanna have a real playerbase (100/200 players) then you may need to get about 2gb ram and more as your community grows.
