I have Photoshop Cs3, and when I try to open .dds files, it says that file can't open. What shall I do?

You need an addon that will allow photoshop to open dds files.
I think there is a link to one on here.
Try searching for something along the lines of photoshop dds plugin.

the new pdn or paint dot net can open dds files.
