I have Static ip but i have a problem
When i set my static ip in config.ini ppl can join the server
but i can't

When i put my computer ip like 192.168.1.2 in config.ini i can join
but ppl can't

how to fix this?

I had Same problem with binary but at binary i used to use 2 account servers... first one with my computer ip 192.168.1.2 that let me login the other one with the static ip that let ppl login

Any Idea?

You gotta Forward your ports.

If his ports were not forwarded then people outside of his network would be unable to connect.

Does your server check the ip being used to connect to it? I know the old coemu servers had a check in them where if you were connecting to an ip that was not what the server was technically running on it wouldn't accept the connection.

I've heard lots of people complaining about newestcoserver and how when they host it publicly they can't connect from their own computer. I can't imagine it's a very big deal to fix it though.

*cough* or the real solution of not home hosting and shelling out the bit of money for a proper vps ^^

server reads only 2 ports 9958 , 5816

@{ Angelius } I'm not that dumb to need a tut for opening port on my own router and i will put a pic for the ports that opened

Well , Actually the problem is at port-forwarding. When he uses his inside ip {(local)router} He's the only one that can Join , so it doesn't forward the connection to his outside ip. If he uses his out-side ip, Other people can join to the server, but he can't cause 192.168.1.2 Doesn't forward to his outside ip.

you know what, no body said that you are DUMB but you just proved that you are

Alright , type 192.168.1.1 In your browser , if it asks for user and password , mostly all the users and passwords are admin by default so
user: admin
password: admin
NOT SURE about this at your router/modem/whatever

When you get to the page , find the option for forwarding ports.
and Type the following Ports, 5816, 9958, 9957,3306 .. Credits to Angelius
Use the screenshot Angelius gave you.. If you are DUMB , ask here again.
