Open your 3dEffect.ini file and search for moon, you will see
Quote:
[moon]
Amount=4
Change that to read Amount=3. Next look for EffectId3 in the [moon] section, and delete where it says
Quote:
EffectId3=2450
TextureId3=3751
ASB3=5
ADB3=6
It should look like this

Quote:
[moon]
Amount=3
EffectId0=2447
TextureId0=3748
ASB0=5
ADB0=6
EffectId1=2448
TextureId1=3749
ASB1=5
ADB1=6
EffectId2=2449
TextureId2=3750
ASB2=5
ADB2=6
Delay=0
LoopTime=1
FrameInterval=40
LoopInterval=0
OffsetX=0
OffsetY=0
OffsetZ=0
When you are done, click save and reopen client to see the result.

The third texture just looks nasty, like it was blown up from a low resolution image, I think it's supposed to be blue reflection of the moon as it rises or something.

If you like the supermoon effect the way it is, leave it. If you've been bothered by it at all, cause there's just something funny about it, try it, you don't like it, you can always put it back, it's do-it-yourself. :)
