itemtype

Hi all.
I'm using Itemtype.dat editor v2, i like to make my own appearance of quality items on the ground. I quited CO for a while, now i'm back. Theres new items edited in itemtype like fireworks.. So i decided to edit like always my prefix and what do i see. It doesn't work! At all! It does nothing! So theres some ways for me: Use someones made itemtype, use my old one and not see fireworks.. or if u help me it will be my favorite view again :)
Sorry if this was discussed b4. Thx.

P.S. Any1 alive?

P.P.S. BTW i wanted to ask a long time ago, i didn't saw anyone asking about that. So:
+1 items u get when u pick em. But! If u have +1 item and drop it and pick it.. its still +1. So maybe some1 can make itemtype to see +1's dropped from players like if he got +1 from mob and got killed. :)
It would be nice to know the durability of items. Cuz u can pick up a lot high dura items and sell :)

I already was there, nothing good for me. I want a working Itemtype.dat editor v2 and theres no dura and +1's in hot section

Use [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] to make text file of itemtype.dat.
Then edit it the way you want.

You could start with one of my edited ItemTpye's [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

As for +1's there not in the itemtype.dat file.
That is in some other file.
So far no one has come forward with that location.
Yet. ;)

heh thx, i'l try it :)
P.S. Oh now i remember, the link is broken -.- I already wanted to download it b4.
LOL nvm, its working :D
Everything is so difficult :) .. so i got enc/dec running.. made dat into txt and with Mic. Word edited what i wanted.. now the backward process .. having a bit problem.. lets see if i can make it right :)
Hmm.. almoust there... I made my prefix, i see my items but the items have some strange symbols here and there.. Lets see.. Oh the text is normal, only my bow text mixed with Job Archer.. hm.. maybe it's ok if i leave it this way.. i can't make it better anyway.. Oh there are some symbols.. nvm.. i'l get used to them :p

Maybe some1 wants my itemtype.dat for fixing this bug or something else ? [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] I would be glad if some1 helped me here. When i open this with ItemType.dat editor v2 the following error appeared: Index was outside the bounds of the array
Well i tryed to make shorter prefix but still the same. Tho i made same but with ItemType.dat editor v2 only it was B4 and all was OK.
Thx for ur help a1blaster, respect :) +k ;p

Hey along with your item ideas, is it possible to change the Itemtype.dat so Mets, Gems, Gift Boxes, and DB's are a lot larger in size? It is so annoying to scatter a bunch of mobs and have a bunch of noobs jump on my Met or gem. I would think if it was larger I would be able to click on it even if someone was standing on it. Plus it would be easier to notice them while hunting.

Thanks in advance.

+1s can only be told when you pick up the item. There is no way, even if you drop it to tell. The item on the ground does not relay that info. This is discussed numerous times. Search for a post by unknownone. Also he wrote the first itemtype editor in VB, i'm sure someone could update that. I used to have the source.

EDIT: Ok, after like 30 mins of searching through old dead posts with invalid links I finally found a copy. This is old and non-working but you can re-write it. I may do this later today.

Also, please give [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] to unknownone! He has none but contributed so much to this forum. Heres the link to the post. [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Thanks for your help. I found a working Unknownone editor based off of A1blaster's earlier comments. How would I change the size of an item. I don't see that as an option. Would I need to use a different program?

Thanks Again.

What if we changed the Monster.dat so all the players were smaller?

Players aren't monsters. The size is based serverside I believe.

Thanks I will play with the ini files. I saw that A1blaster made larger gem sizes. I will see if I can reverse it and do the same for giftboxes, mets, and dbs.

Is there anyway to click on your item if someone else is standing on it?

Thanks again.
