posting the code doesn't really help much, unless someone experienced it before. Wat is the message from that error?

Hello all, i see one of us are having the same error dont know what's going on....the game was running fine for a month now i seem to get this damn 360 error all the time and i cant log on at all it says, GameGuard Failed to complete gameguard update. Try again after disabling any anti-virus programs or change its settings useing PC Management Program.

I have reinstalled 2moons a few times reinstalled GameGuard as well, and turned off my antivirus and my firewall and even tried to allow 2moons to run with it and i still get the error.... i have even done this ---> Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete and go to the “processes” tab. End each process with your username EXCEPT for explorer.exe and taskmgr.exe. and still nothing....

I am not sure if its my antivirus i have Avast and Hitman pro... have been trying for 3days to get it to work again now i am starting to get a little stressed lol

Oki i have got it working :D this also work for error 380 as well, All u do is go to C:/WINDOWS/system32/drivers/etc/hosts and open it with notepad and delete everything but the numbers. Then save it there and tick Archive's in Properties, Hope it work for anyone as it has for me.

So in the end it should look like this

i swear ur a god man thanks for your help it solved my prob too!
11/28/2007 09:24 dedrick#8
well. if u delete "nprotect.acclaimdownloads.com" after the ip, gg wont get bypassed anyway, so u might as well just clear the whole hosts file, cus hacks wont work atm.
11/29/2007 02:36 -=ToMiK=-#9
Actually you wrong dedrick. There is one way. All you have to do is uninstall the game. delet the acclaim folder including your bot/hacks. Then go into your host and delete all the 72.167.37.76 stuff. Then save it and exit out of. Install the game again and run it and update it with out no bypass or bots. Then download all the hacks/bots and then you can bypass. Worked perfectly for me. Try to test on your computers if you have the same problem. Takes about 10 mins.
