you have to extract it from a .ANI file under /ANI directory. After that you can find it in data/pic/shadow. You can find where the simpleshadow.dds file is by opening the .ANI file with notepad and search for "simpleshadow.dds" (duh). You can extract it with the WDF extractor (ter?) found using search.

Er...well...if you're talking about this folder "C:\Program Files\Conquer 2.0\data\pic", then there is no other file in it except for "syndicate.tga". So I would be much obliged if you could specify where exactly I can find this .ANI extension file you're talking about and what its name is. Thanks. :)

when i say /ANI i mean
C:/Program Files/Conquer 2.0/ANI provided that you actually installed conquer in program files...

the simpleshadow file is in Common.Ani in the \ANI directory

Code:
[SimpleShadow]
FrameAmount=1
Frame0=data/pic/Shadow/simpleShadow.dds
so u just use WDF extractor (use search) and put in the location of Common.Ani in the box

@ dark

Well I looked around for a .WDF extractor on both epvp and CoFusion but couldnt find a working one. Unknownones's are in .ibf format now that the forums gone vbulletin and no matter what extension I change em to (i.e. .rar, .zip, .bat, .exe etc xD) they dont work...
Could you be kind enough to tell me where I can find a working WDF extractor??

hey RAV! ive been that problem 2 months ago! THat is very simple actually to apply to conquer! YOure just gonna make a new folder of it! If you want the adress on where to put the folder, i beleive it is stated at the conquer online mods!

I re-uploaded the files there from unknownone and fixed them.
All you had to do was rename the *.ibf to *.rar and extract.
Read the thread to learn how to use wdfextract.
