Making a proxy - Working with packets

I am interested in attempting to make my own proxy but one of the major hang ups I have is that I do not have anywhere close the understanding of packets in general much less conquer related packets.

I need to understand these concepts and learn how to work with and apply them...the easiest and most practical way is through something that is hands on.

If you have great experience doing this, any recommendations for a beginner type of project or exercises I should attempt/work on to begin learning the basics of this?

Also, if your experienced and would be interested in teaching me I certainly would be inclined!

Please only reply if you have extensive experience in these matters!

Thanks!

I'd be wasting my time if I told what I know since it's been said many times; check stickies.

So apparently my post I wrote earlier didn't work...

I wrote an entire sticky in this exact same section on how to understand packets, proxies and conquer botting... provided a TON of links and also released an ENTIRE WORKING C# PROXY SOURCE CODE as example more recently (in the bot section)

So yahh... mind reading the forum first next time?
