Need

Can anyone update or make a new guide to make a zero server, so i can just like make one and F$%K around on it with some friends and stuff...

zero is pretty much dead, omni war is the most up to date game but there not releasing it for this community to grow.

i think is stupid seeing how some people just want to have fun... and others want to get Zero back up and running and make it more popular, like come on, some people like option. and the freedom to join more servers. if your scared that somone might make a better server and take all the people from the other server. then dont be, because there are soo many people bored and sick of Eudemons and Conquer like me...

omni developers will never release a source instead they intend to be the only server left alive, i can make a server but my programs are out dated and their the only ones that have updated programs and files.

i dont really care if its old lmao.. i just want to fuck around with friends and shit...

we wont be releasing our source because lurking has took those beat up shitty files (as you call them) and developed it to what omni is now, to make the community grow then people should have done what lurking has done and work there ass off and release little by little simple things here and there. no one who worked as much as he has on omni will release the entire thing.
Only reason omni is up to date is because there done by hand finding ways to make what is needed.
even in eo no one will release a perfect source or something as remotely well done as omni. same with co, wow and any other pserver files out there. every single file release are not as well done they have flaws and allot of bugs so the community fixes it up themselves. you all want this community to grow well then start cracking maybe 1 or two things will be released MAYBE if we see fit other then that don't hold your breaths for omni's files, lurking nor i will ever released the files.

well, i never asked for your files lmao, all i wanted was a guide showing me how to make a basic up todate server so i can just fuck around on, nothing to big. i dont know how to code and am nnot willing to find somone because the server i want will just be like i said to fuck around on. i tryed making on with the other guide that noone really looks at and it didnt work hense why i asked if anyone could make one. for me or other people wanting to try to make one, and who knows maybe someone will put in the effert in as they build their own server.

im not trying to start anything here and never put down you or your server i think its a great server, alittle slow at times but other then that im perfectly fine with playing it. i just want something i can do when thoughs long night become boreing for me and freinds. you know....

@ KOMOKABOY i wasn't saying you wanted omni files i was responding to jaydawgz ;P you could give it a try and what ever you stumble on ask, i had started a zero pserver with those files (well not those files but there about same) but i was to busy with eo and co servers to even put any effort into zero then omni and divinity merged and you know the rest =)
you can give it a shot and just ask i am sure you will be able to get it started its basic configurations are like eo.

@dungeonmaster your right not everyone knows how to do what lurking does but you could take examples from eo even the co and pick up few things here and there to expand your knowledge on how the binary are worked and manipulated. everything is one step at a time. lurking has exceptional intellectual ability, but people with out Lurking's ability's have been able to create servers that are excellent, its trial and error.

true but its hard when the other guide doesnt work or the links are out of date lol.. that why i was asking if anyone could possibly make another one. :P
