[Help] DC after picking character

Ok, so i updated the server to ep4... but now when i go into the game and click "start game" after choosing my character and i get instant.. dc any ideas on how to fix this?

did you put in /vchkoff and /nprotectoff before going in game on the server?
and when you dc..whats the error message you get? that would help determine the issue

yeah i put /vckoff and nprotectoff... and i get coonnecting has been disconected.. error 0 or something like that... not near my house atm so can't check

sounds like you didnt put your ips in correctly then o.O

shouldn't it happen before going in the game thought?.... it happens right after i pick my character and go to loading screen

is it maybe because your toon is on an error map?

could be.. i'll make a new account and see how that turns out..not gonna make a new toon and risk thinking it's something else...... thank you very much... didn't really think about that one...

Nothing to do with IP's. If the IP was incorrect he wouldnt be able to get in the game to start with.

As for the dc error..it could be an SQL problem or an account problem. As you suggested make a new account and see what happens

Hi, i got the same problem if u figure could u post here?

It only happens when i update to ep4 , i followed zero guide and all went fine.
I had reinstall all and used ep3 before update to ep4 and with ep3 have not erros i can get in game etc etc ( just all buggy, i know is normal xD ) just idk now how to fix it so plz help :p

Check your SQL passwords. I advice to go in server objects, linked servers, and change ALL passwords and usernames in there as they should be.

I replaced username/password with the one i use to conect to SMSE(Server Management Studio Express) Server Authentication, in all 5 Linked servers that i have but nothing changed i still getting same error. :X

I had that problem. What caused mine I think is that. My skills was not maxing out only to level 3. So I went and changed my skill number in database and then started getting the error.

Have you changed anything in PS_GameData, tables, dbo.Chars?
