Which Operating System Should I Use?

Hi, im just wondering, what operating system should i use for conquer?

i need it work for .dds thumbnail viewer! for customiz my client

I use Windows 7 64bit...
But if you want to edit the client, you're going to need to use Windows XP to use any DDS viewer... so it's really up to you.

I use windows 7 and I can edit client Fang.

well, .dds thumbnail viewer don't work for Windows 7... ofc u can edit when using win 7... i have windows 7 and i can edit, but my .dds thumbnail viewer doesn't work! cuz it's not working for Windows 7

All edits and interfaces I have done, it have been on windows 7. Effects like headshot, goal etc. For ProjectX, I did them on Windows 7 also.
So, they must install wrong or have wrong settings, it works fine on windows 7.

There is not really anything wrong with Windows 7 anymore, most bugs etc. have been fixed.

Windows XP is reaching EOL you need to upgrade to Windows 7 if you havent already, there are no compatibility issues with conquer, and you can get a .dds viewer that works for it, you might have struggled when it was originally released, but no any more.

Is their a "None of the above" spot? How about Linux ubuntu, i mean you can't do shit with it conquer wise, but it's pretty freaking pimp.

Its good that you read the OP's post and still choose to ignore the part about being able to use the conquer client and modify it....

it really depends on the specs of your system, if its somewhat shit go xp, else 7.

I'm an oldy xP The last time I checked I needed a thumbnail viewer.
Windows 7 then. It's great =p (msn hates it though if you're 64bit, like every 64bit system)

o.O theres nothing wrong with Windows Live Messenger on 64bit windows 7.

Never had any problems with WLM.

Only problems I have ever had with 64bit are with OllyDbg.

._. really? On mine there is. I have to go into AppData\local\Microsoft\Windows Live\Contacts and delete my email address's folder so my contacts show up again. It effs up once and a while. It's really really annoying because I don't know when it's effing up.
