Connecting to my server..

Hello guys,

I made my own private server with newestco(source) and RebelgamingCo (client). Everything works fine but when i want my friends to login into the game they can't. Well i found a way they can get it and that was changing the ip in config.ini in my source (with the ip from ipchicken). But when do this i am not able to enter the server but they can. Otherside when i put my static ip into the config.ini i can enter the game and they can not.
How can i figure it so i can login and my friends too??

Well it sounds like you have got the right ports open for people to play on your server.
When you gave out your "Global IP" ([Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]) did you put that into your server.dat?
If other people can login to your server with your "Global IP" then you should be able to too unless you have changed your server.dat in anyway apart from the client name and IP.

Uhm see i made a screenshot from my config.ini and from the server.dat.
U can see in server.dat i got my local ip, and in config.ini i use the ip from ipchicken. (cuz so my friends can play while i cant)

pics r to small ;p i cant see if u have ur ip in both files remember ur static ip must be external

See the file config.ini has my static ip and the server.dat my external ip. At this way i can login into the server but the other people cant. While if i change iit and put my local ip at config they can login but i cant

Use your Global IP / the IP from IP chicken in all of your files...

When i put my external ip from ipchicken at server.dat and config.ini. Then i start newestco and then my client after i hit the login button the load bar wont even show up...

EDIT: at this moment i tried changing the ip from server dat to my default gateaway and my friends still could play but i could not... and when i put my static ip there i get to logging into account server... and there it stays after that i get the error could not connect to the game server.
