STR bow guides?

Hi
Was wondering if anyone could post a in depth guide to a str bow user.
i searched sro forums an found nothing really too good.

Would be helpful if u could list all skills, how many points i need to add in each skill ect ect

Guides to Common Builds

* Blade - STR Build
o Stat points: All STR
o Skill Trees:
+ Swordmanship: Concentrate on Chain Sword Attack series, Blade Force series and the Shield Protection passive. Hidden Blade and Killing Heaven series aren't really used in PvE but good to have for PvP. Shield Technique is very good for defensive players.
+ Force Skills: I suggest Cold or Fire. Cold for defensive builds and Fire for offensive.
Cold: Cold Force series, Frost Nova series, and Cold Armor passive.
Fire: Fire Force series, Flame Body series and Flame Devil passive.


* Sword - INT Build
o Stat points: All INT or 1:2
o Skill Trees:
+ Swordmanship: Concentrate on Chain Sword series and Shield Protection passive. A little bit of Hidden Blade and Killing Heaven also suggested.
+ Force Skills: For PvP go Cold + Lightning. For PvE go Fire + Lightning.
Lightning: Wind Walk series, Lion Shout series, Heaven's Force passive
Cold: Cold Force series, Frost Guard series, Cold Armor passive, maybe one Frost Nova and Snow Storm series
Fire: Fire Force series, Fire Protection series and Flame Wave series


* Glaive - STR Build
o Stat points: All STR
o Skill Trees:
+ Spearmanship: Concentrate on Soul Departs series, Chain Spear series, Cheolsam HP passive. Flying Dragon series just to Flying Dragon-Fly lvl1. Ghost Spear series optional. Fanning Spear optional for those that do a lot of AoE hunting.
+ Force Skills: Fire and Cold both have their advantages.
Fire: Fire Force series, Flame Body series and Flame Devil passive
Cold: Cold Force series, Frost Nova series, and Cold Armor passive
Also spend some SP on Lightning and Heal for their passives. Both are learned at mastery lvl10.


* Spear - INT Build
o Stat points: All INT recommended since Spearmanship gives HP bonus passive. 1:2 ok too.
o Skill Trees:
+ Spearmanship: Cheolsam passive, Chain Spear is good to learn.
+ Force Skills: Lightning highly suggested. Thunder Force series, Wind Walk series, Lion Shout series, Thunderbolt series, Heaven's Force passive.


* Bow - STR Build
o Stat points: All STR
o Skill Trees:
+ Bowmanship: Concentrate on Anti Devil series, Arrow Combo series, White hawk and Blue Hawk, Break Heaven series, Mind concentration passive.
+ Force Skills: Cold highly suggested. Cold force series, Frost Guard and Cold Armor. lvl1 Frost Nova-Wind can save your ass in bad situations.

I'd say str bow is kind of weak, if i were you id do a 70:70 then at 80 make is an 80:80. If you look at a bows stats its made to be a hybrid weapon. Also, with strong bow getting 350% imbue damage is insane and that int you will have will make it godly same with berserker arrow.

well u can see im a bowman...
if u are a hybrid 80-80 bow i read somewhere u have 15% critical increase damage at any shot.. BUT u lose 10% of phy damage...in which case i think most better bowman is PACHEON-FIRE PUR STR because critical is not that often and u need phy damage to kill enemies...

but we can see also 2 good skills of pacheon are with 35 and 10 critical increase shots..and if u are a hybrid u can give some awesome damage but u lose a lot of HP that means u are kinda weak in a fight with a pur str glavier which has stun and good skills...

So my opinion is that PUR STR PACHEON-FIRE is the best choice...u have a lot of HP and a big damage and good crits..

anyways i made a pvp with a lvl 70+ pur str glavier lower then me with 2 lvls and i hit him with Strong Bow Vision lvl 9 with 12k critical damage..and one shot of anti devil bow strike lvl 1 and i killed him..so i think pacheon-fire pur str is the best build after pur str glavier...

I must agree with vandamme2000..Im also a STR bow FIRE, and it totally owns :)..
But one thing I wont agree on, is that the best build is a Str glavie..
lv 80 str bow totally pwns glavie str :)

Short guide (my own build) for Full Str Bow - Cap level 80.
Pacheon 80 - All skills, except black hawk/lightning hawk and Mind Bow series.
Fire 80 - Imbue, Fire Shield, Flame boddy, Fire Protection and Passive
Lightning 80 - Wind walk, Concentration and Heaven's Force (passive).
Cold 60 - Frost Guard, Snow Shield (first book only), Cold Armor (passive).

Required SP: 384,657
Mastery level: 300 / 300

agree my lvl 43 dmg look horrible but iknow that it will change soon:)

u can have an 80/1 str hybrid. at the end the EQ decides wholl win...
anyway pure str bow for the win :D

i am pure str archer,,, lv 69 with a 9 gap atm :-)
here is how u should do it if u want to farm at cave (wich pwns with droprate and spawnrate)

make a PURE STR Lightning Archer
lightning? yep lightning.
only lightning and pacheon till level 60

this is because lightning may be called 'weak', but it is actually very effective.
with lightning comes Parry ratio (dodging incomming attacks) and great speed.
then when u hit lv 60 you leave lightning at lv 60, dont touch it anymore.
all you do now is this: every level you go up, you level the pacheon mastery (but not the skills)
you do this until you become lv 69... collect 90 curst heart and make an instant 9 gap by de-leveling your pacheon mastery back to lv 60.

farm in the cave at nachals.
while your farming level up fire and lvl the imbue and buffs the most.
when your fire imbue is at the highest point switch to that imbue and stop using the lightning imbue. this makes your attack stronger...
at finals level ice also to 60 as you please with the imbue. but especially for the defence...

now you can choose how you wish to be fully farmed...
pacheon lv 80
fire lv 80
lightning lv 60-70-80
cold lv 60-70-80

my plan: pacheon lv 80, fire lv 80, lightning lv 60, cold lv 80

btw: clothings: i recomment using protector till lv 57 then switch to Garment
make sure that before you go to nachals you have pimped your accesoire's with 20% zombie resistance.... they give u zombie very fast.
