Method of Opening Packs

Now I know this may have been asked before, but I really want the answer. I understand the packs are all random chance, but I feel something in the program is either being exploited, or people just know the pattern. But really, how do people manage things like WTLGx3 in the same hour, followed by 6 best luck tokens? And no don't tell me it is all luck and chance because it is always the same person everyday almost 24 hours a day.

So, is there a method to opening packs yes or no?

I also see it everyday at PWI on Lost City Server...
"XYZ got Perfect Token of Best Luck / WTLG / Blazing Tempest / bla bla bla..."
And often 3 or 4 times in a minute and this about 4 times a day...

Maybe they have a cheat / exploit whatever or they open 1000 packs in a minute :/
But I dont know anything about exploits or anything else.

It seems to be just luck / high number of packs, I have a friend who keeps getting good stuff from packs, while I only ever gotten tokens. I know for a fact she doesn't cheat or anything.

I really think it's not just luck, there are indeed patterns....

You're not on their computer, you don't see how many packs they are opening. 3 WTG and 6 best lucks in an hour, you can open 2 packs every 10 seconds (Let's just go with that) that's 12 packs every minute, that's 720 packs opened. Getting that out of 720 packs isn't all that great to be honest.

All you know they could've opened 2000 before that and gotten nada. So yeah, it is just luck in my opinion. That's what the red announcements are for, to make you think there's some pattern or some way people cheat the system and makes you want to buy more packs.

I don't think (unless there is some kind of hack) that they can make their luck better, it is coded into the server side tasks.data...

The way I think it works (and this is only speculation) is that there is some kind of server side list for each type of pack. Each time someone opens a pack they get the next item on the list. They are pretty enormous lists and the lists have some big dead spaces in them, but there seems to be a definite pattern. I used to log red spam to analyse it lol.
There is a quite distinctive section in the pattern for (I think it was) tiger packs where there are 3 WTLGs grouped very close together. I have personally won 2/3 of those in that group twice now as I spotted the pattern of items leading up to it then spammed my own packs on both occasions.
It's a bit tougher to recognise the patterns now as there are so many different types of packs so they all interleave with each other - Plus on PWI they cut out most of the red spam from packs now except for a few specific items. Well - it was like that last time I played - It seems that the red spam gets enabled again when they update but quite often they forget to disable it again for a week or so.

I think that could be very true^

from what i have seen from my own time opening packs the more you have the better your chances of good shit ina row i have opend packs for friends on PWI since the first ani packs to help them out...

one such person i opend 30k packs for while he was away on bussiness i set up a auto clicker which spamed packs and i got ina row a cube neck warsong belt cloudcharger 2lunar trophys and a few vitstones event helms and boots lunar weps yada yada yada

i also find being ina area that has fewer people helps as well as spaming when the server is mostly dead for activity i always opend at around 3-6am est

but in the end the more u have it seems the better ur chances

From my experience it somehow seems to be that you need to open some packs in order to actually get nice items, like you would open 200-300 with tokens and then after that you would get a good item every 50-100 packs, but could be just luck of course...

What also got my attention is that before a Chronobike key bidding on AH people, there seems to be 1 dropping from packs too O.o
